Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir x Reader One Shots

Y/n POV.

I was getting antsy. I've been in these legs for way too long. Paris is nice and all, but I need a break. So here I was. In front of the Seine River. I took in its beauty before diving in. This was my secret. I was a mermaid. When I got wet, my f/c tail apperead. Finally, I could swim freely. I made my way towards my home, Atlantis. There was only one thing wrong. Someone had seen me.

Cat Noir POV

I was finished patrolling with Ladybug, when I passed the Seine. I gasped at what I saw. Y/n was about to jump in. I wanted to call out for her, but I was too late. She had already jumped in. Tears threatened to spill. What was she doing? Is she trying to kill herself? I didn't even get to tell her I loved her. I shook these thoughts out of my head. I had to save her, and right now I was wasting time. I ran to an alley and transformed into Adrien. 

"Plagg, Power Up!" I yelled as I gave my Kwamii a piece of the aqua power Camembert.

"Aqua Plagg," he announced as his new name.

"Aqua Plagg, Claws Out!" I transformed into Aqua Cat Noir. I jumped into the seine. I could swim effortlessly, and breathe underwater with my new powers. I saw a blur of movement. I noticed long enough to see a bit of y/n. Was she swimming? No. Impossible. She had no diving gear, and would be running out of oxygen soon. Was she already unconscious and being dragged away, by some creature. Probably. Now I was scared. I needed to hurry. I followed the blur to a rock. Now I was confused. A few seconds later the rock slide by itself to the side, like some sort of automatic door. I was so focused on the rock, that y/n passed by and I almost didn't notice. I went through the passage the rock revealed, and I heard it slide back into place. What was all of this? I gasped. In front of me was a beautiful underwater kingdom. I glanced back at y/n. I thin it was y/n. She looked like her from the torso up, but she had a glimmering f/c tail. Wait. Is y/n a mermaid?!

"Y/n!" I called out. She looked behind her to see me. She looked mortified. I guess I wasn't supposed to find out her secret. Or be here in general.

"Ch-Chat?" She swam towards me.

"Yeah, it's me. So you mind explaining what's going on?"

"Ummm. This is all a dream. Don't worry, you'll wake up soon." I gave her an unamused look. Really. That was the best she could come up with. She placed her hand on my forehead an it began to glow. I felt myself getting sleepy. I fell unconscious in y/n's arms."

Time Skip

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I took in my surroundings and it began to get clearer. I was in y/n's room, in her bed. She was at her desk, working on something on her laptop. What just happened couldn't have been a dream. It was so real. How did I get here?

"Y/n, what happened?" I asked her.

"Oh, you're awake. You just finished patrolling with Ladybug, and you came over to my house. You were tired and I let you take a nap," she lied. No, that couldn't be. I'm so sure I saw her underwater as a mermaid. To be honest, I'm surprised at her lying abilities.

"Really, because I had a strange dream, where you jumped into the Seine, and I followed you, and saw you as a mermaid," I explained. She didn't even react not even a flinch. I got an idea. "Can I have some water?" I asked. She nodded and left to get me a glass. I looked over at her desk. She was eating seaweed. Sounds like something a mermaid would eat. She came back with the water and handed it to me. "You know, I just love seafood. Especially fish. It's just soooo good." I exaggerated to see how she would react. She let out a huge gasp. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently.

"N-nothing. I just don't like seafood. That's all," she replied nervously.

"Opps." I said, as I spilled the water on her. She gasped even louder as her legs got replaced with her tail. "I knew it!" She glared at me.

"Stupid, memory spell. I just can't master it," she murmured.

"Wait, so you tried to wipe my memory?" I asked.

"Maybe."

"Tell me everything about being a mermaid!" I exclaimed excitedly. Even my tail was swishing around." She took the water that spilled and turned it into a bubble. Then she burst it over my head.

"Opps." I deadpanned. "Okay, so I can waterbend, swim, and breathe underwater. You kind of already know about the tail thing.

"How did you adapt to land, and walking so quickly?"

"There's a place in Altantis to practice, in case you wanted to go to the shore after you graduated Merschool"

"Tell me more!"

"Oh my bubbles." Stop obsessing over me." By now her tail had dried and she got up from her chair.

"Bubbles? That is so cute!" I gushed. She sat on the bed beside me. I starting tickling her.

"Oh my guppies, stop before I drown you in the Seine."

"Awww! What else do you say cutely?" She huffed " I know you love this."

"I do not!" She retorted.

"Sure, my little guppy."

"Wha-what was that."

"A nickname."

"Ugh. Stop teasing, and kiss me already."

"Gladly." I smashed my lips on hers. She immediately kissed back. I smirked into the kiss and tried to deepen it. She broke apart.

"Sorry but without my tail, I need air."

"I love you!" I blurted out.

"Oh really. I wouldn't have guessed, by how much passion you put into that kiss."

"Can I do it again?"

"Fine, but only if we can cuddle."

"Anything for my underwater princess."

And that's how we spent the rest of our evening. Cuddles with a few kisses.
