I'm not sure what happened, but recently I've had a burst of motivation for writing! Even if it did start at one in the morning..

A intense throbbing pain that went on in her head was what (Y/n) awoke to, her (e/c) eyes fluttered open, even if her eyes were barely open, she could easily tell her vision was blurred. It took a moment for her to figure out where she was, but once she turned her head to the side, snuggling into the warmth provided by the soft, silk sheets that covered her body, she instantly knew from the intricate designs that detailed pillars around her where she was.

'Still in Sindria..'

(Y/n) thought, she raised a shaky bandaged hand and gently pressed against her ear, which were still ringing from the explosions that the Magi she fought had used.

Rolling over again, trying to get comfortable in the expensive bed she was in despite being wrapped in bandages like a mummy, (Y/n)'s eyes were greeted with a familiar face, or rather, outfit from her level of sight.

"Nori?" Came (Y/n)'s cracked, low voice, her own tone even surprised herself a bit as it sounded so unused. But the white-green haired female jumped, now awoken from her small nap.

"Empress!" Her high pitched voice squeaked, worry swarmed in her forest green eyes as she leaned forward, pushing (Y/n)'s frame back down onto the bed, stopping her from sitting up. "Please stay in this position, it's better for your back." The general advised, her tone now soft as it also held a slightly nervous edge to it.

(Y/n) gave a reassuring smile, responding with a still croaky "very well." As she settled back into the bed, resting her head on the soft pillow below it. "When did you get here?" The (h/c) female questioned, Nori's sighed, shaking her head.

"A few days ago," the general responded, seeing (Y/n)'s eyes widen at her words, she quickly added; "you've been out cold for a week."

"A week!?" (Y/n)'s tone cracked as she spoke out in shock, the (h/c) female jumped up, only to receive a sharp pain shoot through her back so she swiftly flopped back down.

Nori giggled at her empress' and friend's actions, "Yes, a week." She confirmed, moving a section of her knee length hair back behind her shoulder. She sat back down on the chair behind her, petting down her pale, almost white skirt down as she sat, The white-green haired female also pulled up her oversized pale green sweater back over her shoulder while crossing her legs. "On a more serious note," Nori begun, seeing (Y/n)'s gaze return back to her, she continued. "Let me explain a little about what's going on, because a lot has happened while you've been out-"

"A lot always happens while I'm out, huh." (Y/n) grumbled under her breath, Nori sweat-dropped, nodding shyly. "Ah, sorry, continue?"

"A-anyways, I was called from Phoenix moon to help treat you, while Sindria does have a magician capable of such work, most of the generals insisted at least one of us come over to Sindria to assist.." (Y/n) nodded her head at Nori's words, even though she knew there was more to the story her general wasn't telling, the (h/c) female was sure she'd find out eventually.

"Everyone at home is quick worried about you and your safety, the moment they found out about the incident you had with the Magi, everyone was pretty much in a uproar.." Nori trailed off, her fingers toyed with each other as she shifted her weight from side to side. "Long of the short, everyone is concerned for you." The white-green haired female concluded, before she added a little more quietly; "but I need to talk to you about-"
