"Slight numbness and pain in my back.."

"Right! Give me one moment!"

Yamuraiha diligently got to work, to help with (Y/n)'s inevitable headache, she grabbed some pills which she explained (Y/n) could take to help with headaches. For her ears ringing Yamuraiha used a spell, when (Y/n) questioned why she had a spell for such, Yamuraiha explained that she occasionally has to use it at the palace because of one of king's Sinbad's dijnn equips. And lastly for (Y/n)'s back, Yamuraiha used a spell and gave her one pill, the spell would stop the stiffness and numbness for a day or two, and the pill would ease the pain.

(do they even have pills? Would they use herbs or something? I don't know but I feel like Yamuraiha being the genius she is would've made pills that are infused with magic or something.)

"All done!" Yamuraiha spoke cheerfully as she tucked some of her bottles of pills and herbs away in the drawer she got them from, she then turn to (Y/n). "How are feeling now?"

(Y/n) chuckled, leaning into the soft (and expensive) pillows behind her "Much better actually." she answered, letting out a sigh. The spells that Yamurahia used had kicked in almost instantly, which (Y/n) was very thankful for.

"That's good, I'm glad that-" Yamuraiha's words went cut off as a loud knock came to the door, and before either of the women in the room could reply it was opened, only to reveal King Sinbad, Ja'far, and Nori.

"Empress (Y/n), I'm relieved to see your awake." Sinbad's deep voice came first as he gave a dazzling smile.

"King Sinbad." (Y/n) nodded her head in greeting. "I apologize that I can not get up and give you a proper greeting." The (h/c) empress added, bringing a small smile to her face. It was more a formal smile, which was something (Y/n) didn't enjoy using, however sometimes it was needed. Sinbad shook his head at her words before he spoke himself.

"No, no. don't be sorry, your injured and need to heal." Sinbad's words were laced with a reassuring tone, one (Y/n) was almost certain was fabricated. "however, I myself need to apologize." As the king of Sindria spoke, Nori went around him, coming over to (Y/n)'s side as she took her hand, sliding a small sheet of folded paper into her palm.

Her eyes meet with the (h/c) females, Nori gave a soft smile. "I'll be back soon, we can talk then." (Y/n) nodded, knowing she should probe her with questions, so she glanced at the paper placed in her hand, it simply had written: 'read once you've gotten onto the ship, and only then.' With that Nori stood and left out the door once more, leaving her exchange with (Y/n) short and quick.

'Ship? Only then? Who the hell wrote this?'

"Empress (Y/n), i offer my sincerest apologies to you." Sinbad's words brought (Y/n)'s attention back to the purple haired man, who continued. "You were injured while in my country and my and my generals were unable to get there in time to properly intervene." Guilt swarmed in his eyes as he gave a sad smile, bowing his head. "And for that I am truely sorry."

'My, my, such an actor.'

Once he straightened his posture, the king of Sindria continued: "I do hope this doesn't effect your consideration of the alliance between your empire and Sindria." The male gave another one of his intoxicating smiles, one (Y/n) was sure would make most women swoon at the thought.

'He sure does know how to use his good looks in his favour..'

'But I am offended he thought I wouldn't see through his charade.'

"King Sinbad, your apology is very much appreciated." (Y/n) responded simply, returning a formal smile. 'I do hope this ends soon, I'm hungry and hate fake apologies..' (Y/N) thought, bored. She allowed her fingers to fiddle with each other in an attempt to both give her something to do and distract her, It didn't really work.

"I'm glad you think so." Another fake smile. "but, Empress (y/n), may I speak with you privately?" one more of his dazzling fake smiles. Jafar's eyes widened in alarm apon hearing his king's words, he gave the purple haired male a warningful glance before exiting the room with Yamuraiha, leaving only the two rulers, (Y/n) and Sinbad.

"I'm sure their's a specific reason you wish to speak with me alone?" (Y/n) kept her tone calm as she gave a small smile, titling her head to the side innocently. Sinbad nodded, keeping his usual smirk on his face.

"I noticed you have two dijnns, during the battle with judar."

"oh?" (y/n) hummed out before giving a small chuckle. "yes, yes. More than two, actually."

And the plot thickens! sorry that this chapter wasn't much, but we are definitely getting further towards the actual romance with each chapter, I dare say there's only about three to four arcs left until the romance! (for me, an arc is about three - five chapters.)

as a sidenote, I've moved from writing on my phone to my macbook (I'll probably write on both from now on) but I'm still getting use to writing on the keyboard. (its so big! the keyboard I mean.) but once I've gotten use to it I'm hoping it'll help me speed up the updates as i've also set a goal to writing a little each day.
