kitten ?! markbam

mark wrapped his arms and legs around the kitten sitting between his legs. bambam giggled and leaned back to pressed his back against mark's chest.

"do you ever get bored sleeping so much?" mark asked when bambam's head fell onto his shoulder only for the impact to wake him up.

bambam hummed. "i'm a kitten and you're warm. kitten needs lots of sleep."

mark nodded because he understood. so he just rubbed bambam's tummy and let him fall asleep. mark was comforted by the sound of bambam's purring anyway so it worked out well.

they had been there for a while when yugyeom and jinyoung walked into the living room and sat on the other couch.

"mark, want to see a picture?" yugyeom asked, holding back a giggle while jinyoung hid the bottom half of his face behind yugyeom's shoulder.

mark shrugged and grabbed the picture that yugyeom was holding out to him. they hadn't expect for mark to start to cry so quickly but tears started to form in his eyes.

"that was bambam when he first moved to thailand. i figured you'd want it," yugyeom explained as mark looked at picture.

"why are you crying, mark?" jinyoung asked. he knew mark was a crybaby but he didn't know why he was crying at the picture.

"how could someone hurt a boy like this? he was so tiny and cute. he doesn't deserve what his ex did to him."

bambam had told mark about his last relationship and mark hated the thought of bambam begin mistreated like he had been. since bambam was a hybrid, he couldn't work so he had no money to be able to move out.

bambam, who had ended up laying down with his head in mark's lap, pressed his nose into mark's lower abdomen. he started purring again when mark kept petting his head.

"mark, bad stuff happened to bambam but he is so happy now. you make him happy," yugyeom told him because it was the truth. mark made bambam really happy. he took care of bambam and cuddled him when he needed, and let him take care of mark.

bambam, being a kitten hybrid, needed a lot of attention and taken care of but it made him feel bad. he couldn't even have a job. so he wanted to take care of mark as well as he could even though mark just wanted to baby and take care of bambam.

mark often needed to remind bambam that he knew he was a kitten hybrid and he wasn't bothered by the things that came with dating him.

bambam rubbed his eyes with the sleeves of the sweater (which was mark's) as he woke up and looked up at mark. he gasped upon seeing mark's flushed face and a few stray tears streaming down his cheeks.

"why are you crying?" bambam asked, cupping mark's cheeks to look at his face. mark let bambam pull him down to him. "what's wrong?"

"nothing, you're just so cute you make me emotional." mark leaned down and pecked bambam's lips.

bambam made sure mark was okay about 10 more times that day. "i am okay, kitten. stop worrying about me."

the three couples in the house and jackson got pizza (and breadsticks for bambam and youngjae) for a roommate dinner night.

bambam sat in mark's lap so there was room for everyone else and because he liked sitting in mark's lap. they all knew bambam was a clingy kitten so it didn't bother anyone that he was almost always sitting on mark's lap.

mark made bambam try some of his pizza instead of just eating his breadsticks. bambam didn't like it but he did eat the pepperoni off of mark's pieces.

when mark and bambam went to mark's room, bambam saw the picture of him that mark had been given earlier. mark had put it with a few other pictures of him and bambam that he had on his wall.

"yugyeom gave me that picture," mark told him, wrapping his arms around bambam from behind. "you were, and still are, a cutie."

"i look like a baby. my hair looked so dumb."

"that sounds like a lie." mark kissed bambam's cheek before he let go of him so they could get ready for bed. "bed time, kitten."
