"Hey, you guys, we're sorry," Bella quickly said.

"Where were you?" Angela asked. "We left you messages"

Hayley frown as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. She tried to turn it on, only to find out it was dead. "Convenient," She muttered before stuffing the device back into her pocket.

Jessica sighed. "Yeah, we waited, but we were, like, starving, so we.." She trailed off as Edward and Jasper walked up.

"I'm sorry we kept Bella and Hayley from dinner," Edward said awkwardly. "We just sort of ran into each other and got talking."

"No, we totally understand," Jessica said with a smile. "I mean, that happens, right?"

"We were, yeah, we were just leaving," Angela told them.

"I think we should make sure Bella and Hayley get something to eat," Edward said. "If you'd like. I'll drive you home myself."

"That's so thoughtful," Angela said with a teasing smile as she elbowed Hayley.

"It's really thoughtful," Jessica agreed.

Bella looked over at Hayley, who shrugged in return. "Yeah. We should eat something," Bella said.

"Hayley, I asked them to put the dress you like on hold," Angela informed her with a smile.

"Great, thanks," Hayley replied, returning the smile.

"Okay, so we'll see you tomorrow," Jessica said, turning to leave.

"See ya," Angela said with a wave.

"Bye," Hayley said to the girls.

"One mushroom ravioli and one chicken parmesan," The waitress announced as she placed the pastas in front on the two girls.

"Thanks," Bella mumbled.

"Yeah, no problem," The waitress said, stopping to look at Edward. "So, are you sure there isn't anything I can get for you?" She asked him.

"Seriously?" Hayley whispered with a look of disgust, causing Jasper to chuckle.

"No. No, thank you," Edward said politely.

"Let me know," The waitress said, looking Edward up and down before leaving.

"I can't believe that just happened," Hayley said to Jasper as she reached for her fork.

"It happens often," Jasper replied, a smirk tugging at his lips.

Hayley smiled. "Cocky much?" She asked and Jasper chuckled.

"You're really not going to eat?" Bella asked.

"No, I'm on a special diet," Edward answered and Jasper smirked.

Bella took a deep breath. "You gotta give us some answers," she told him.

Edward groaned. "Yes, no. To get to the other side," he began, making Hayley smile. "Uh, 1.77245-"

"I don't want to know what the square root of pi is," Bella cut him off.

"You knew that?" Edward asked.

"How did you know were we were?" Bella asked.

"I didn't," Edward answered, shaking his head.

"All right," Bella said, standing up.

"Wait," Edward said. "Don't leave. I.."

Bella sat back down. "Did you follow us?" She asked, glancing at Jasper.
