"Sandwich duty?" Silas asked, leaning against the doorway. "Did Caroline put you up to this?" 

His wife looked up at him and shook her head. "No, I did." She said, sticking some bread into her mouth. 

"Oh, I see." The witch walked to stand behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and placing his chin on her shoulder. "Hungry momma...making food..avoiding people."

Poppy rolled her eyes and made another sandwich. "I'm not avoiding everyone, just certain people." 

"Let me guess...Elena and Caroline." He let out a sigh. "They don't know yet, do they?" 

"I'm playing a game called 'let's see how long it takes for them to find out'." Poppy said, sticking toothpicks into the sandwiches. 

"Hmm."

"I don't know how I'm going to tell them." 

Silas placed a kiss on her neck. "Simple. Just say the words 'I'm' and 'Pregnant'." 

Poppy smirked and grabbed the platter and moving away from his arms. "If only it were that easy. Have fun at Ric's." She said, leaving the kitchen and walking to the stairs. She walked up them and headed straight for Damon's room, where Caroline and Elena were getting ready. 

"Care, I've wanted to be human from the day I became a vampire. Besides, I'm the last person that you need to apologize to." She heard Elena say. 

"Thanks, I kind of wanted to start with an easy one." Caroline let out an uncomfortable laugh. 

Poppy pushed open the door with her hip and walked in. "The dreaded 'Amends Tour.'" She said, sitting on the bed with the sandwiches. She ate one off of its toothpick. "I'm still on mine." 

"Are those all for you?" Caroline asked, looking at the sandwiches. 

The hybrid looked at her. "I suppose not anymore...?" 

The blonde smiled and stood up, walking to the bed and grabbing a sandwich. 

"You know," Elena turned in her seat. "You've been acting strange lately. Spill. What's going on?" 

"Uhhh" Poppy ate another sandwich. "The amends tour?" 

"Lie." Caroline called her out quickly, walking to the mirror. 

The Salvatore set down the tray. "Okay, fine!" She held up her hands in surrender. "I'm pregnant!" 

Their eyes widened in surprise. "What?" Elena smiled. "Oh my gosh, that's amazing? How is that even possible?" 

"I dunno, it must be a Mikaelson thing. I found out because my body started to kill both me and the baby so...I had to take the cure that I hid in the Abattoir." 

"I knew it!" Caroline exclaimed, turning and pointing a finger at her. "I knew you were no longer a vampire because you've been walking around and actually enjoying the sun!" She lowered her hand. "Who else knows?"

Poppy bit her lip. "Basically everyone now except for Matt. And-in my defense-the mass majority found out before I did." 

"Okay, okay." Caroline turned back to the mirror. 

Elena smiled before continuing with her hair. "Congratulations."

"If you guys see Stefan, by the way, I am avoiding him. I just need to get my life in order first. Starting with my friends." The blonde said. 

"Stefan's not a friend?" Elena asked in confusion. 

"Stefan's... complicated. I just figured I'd work my way up to that one."
