A/N: Hello again – as mentioned in my last chapter, there will be around 3 'epilogue' chapters. This is part one. As I also explained, they will be snapshots of different parts of your's/Arthur's lives/what the gang is up to 😊

It's going to be cute n fluffy and everything the ending of RDR2 was not. I hope you enjoy these closing epilogue chapters.

Marriage

- 6 months from time of previous chapter -

How that day had been everything you had ever wanted it to be. Meaningful, a sweet and intimate ceremony that took no shine to the grand weddings of the rich – but it had meant everything to yourself and Arthur.

In the final months of the gang's residence at Shady Belle, the boys had been repairing the old bandstand at the side of the property so that yourself and Arthur could have a ice quiet ceremony before the chaos of moving once again engulfed all of your lives.

You, had loved going to find your wedding dress with the help of your dear Abigail, Mary Beth, Tilly and Karen. The five of you cavorting around Saint Denis without a care in the world, especially since Dutch had managed to put an end to Bronte some months ago on one of his it's-not-revenge-but-it-actually-is-revenge missions. Of course Arthur had to have some input in it to.

But with the tyrant gone, you felt much happier to go around Saint Denis and enjoy the company of your good friends and find the perfect dress for your dreamy ceremony. Life felt as if it was really falling into place at last.

Your heart was set on a beautiful white lace dress, with a sweetheart neckline and 3 quarter length lace sleeves. It was by no means an extravagant dress; it was sweet, simplistic and elegant – everything that made you feel beautiful. You knew from the moment you tried it on and your dear friends had proud tears in their eyes – that this had to be the one.

The weeks following up to your ceremony were spent with bated breath and childish excitement, you could not wait for the day to come.

It was not very often things had gone so smoothly for the Van Der Linde gang, but at the moment – it seemed luck really was on all of your sides'. What was also perfect was the fact no one had heard or seen from Micah since the day he had bolted on Dutch and Arthur, and he knew if he did step foot back in this camp – he would face a bullet. Without that poisonous snake around, Dutch was the man everyone really knew him to be. He was a strong leader, he had become more level-headed, trying not to involve himself or anyone else in any unnecessary troubles. The main focus for months now had been to get enough money to move away... something that at last had finally been achieved.

The lot of you were set to move up to a quiet farm in the wilderness of California, the plan was buy some cattle, sheep, chickens and horses and live your lives freely. A dream that had been chased for so long, and was now finally being realised. At least it seemed more sensible than Dutch's initial Tahiti Mango Farm plan – which Hosea had smartly talked him out of for the more sensible option.

This prosperity for the future was something you bore in the back of your mind, further plastering a smile on your face on the days leading up to your wedding.

It only caused your grin to be even wider once the day finally arrived. A beautifully perfect warm mid-spring morning, where the light was a vivid white and the usual swampy smog around Shady Belle looked more opulent and dreamy than misty and ominous.

You remember how perfect it had felt, seeing that Bandstand before you – everyone gathered around with perfectly happy smiles. Already tears had started flowing and the ceremony had not properly started yet.
