With a flaming fist, Alex thrusts her left arm at the boy's face. Her fist smashes into his face, his skin boiling from the fire's kiss.
The force pushes the boy back into a wall of lockers, the locks hanging off of them jingle at the impact.
Startled, the boy drops the notebook and stumbles to his feet.
"You're going to regret that!" He growls and cracks his knuckles. He lunges towards Alex, but something stops him from doing so.
"Don't touch her!" Sam yells at him as her vines restrain the boy from moving.
"What is going on here?"
