・゚: *・゚:* *:・゚*:・゚ AN OLD MAN SITS WITH A CROOKED SMILE AS HE RAMBLES ON ABOUT THE AIRBENDERS. "So, travelers. Next time you think you hear a strange large bird talking, take a closer look. It might not be a giant parrot, but a flying man! A secret group of air walkers who laugh at gravity and those who are bound to the earth by it."

Sokka and I almost snooze off. Katara nudges me awake when Aang walks back to us. I didn't even notice he got up.

"Guys, pack your things." He says excitedly.

Sokka leans on my shoulder, groggy and tired, "awww but we just got here." He whines.

"Where are we going?" I question. Aang jumps over us and runs to Appa, making us hurry after him.

"That man said he saw the airbenders last weak!" My jaw drops at the news.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Now let's get flying, I might not be the last airbender." He gleams. Katara smiles before handing her stuff to Aang so he can load it on Appa. Sokka shrugs before mounting the bison.

"Cmon, Saki!" Katara waves. I sigh before climbing into the saddle.

We've been flying for hours. I've been having the same feeling I had when we visited the Southern Air Temple. I don't want Aang to get his hopes up. Katara scoots over next to Sokka who's sharpening his whale tooth sphere.

"Do you guys really think we'll find airbenders?" She speaks in a low tone. Sokka stops wildling, "do you want me to be like you or totally honest?" Katara crosses her arms at his response.

"Are you saying I'm a lair?"

"I'm saying you're an optimist. Same thing basically."

I scoff at Sokka's answer. Katara rotates to me, "since Sokka isn't taking me seriously, what about you? Do you think we'll find airbenders?" Her hands clasp together in hopes. Her blue eyes sparkle in the early morning sun. I do my best to smile, "I don't know, Katara." Her shoulders slump. She decides to accompany Aang who's steering Appa.

Sokka and I share a knowing glance before returning back to what we were doing.

"Hey, Guys! Look at this!" Aang shouts for us. We greet him to find the Northern Air Temple with people gliding and dancing in the air. My lips form a beaming smile. I watch as the air walkers fly and soar like eagles.

"They really are airbenders!" Katara sighs in awe.

"No. They're not." I look down at Aang. He's leaning back unhappily with his arms crossed. I frown at his lack of satisfaction, "what do you mean? They're flying." I bend down.

"Gliding maybe, but not flying. You can tell by the way they move. They're not airbenders. Those people have to spirit."

As he finishes, Katara, Sokka and I almost get our heads taken off by a pilot of a glider. He sits in a seat with goggles and soars away.
