Brian's car parked in front of the studio. We were twenty minutes late due to mistake in time. But I don't want to get out of the car. I have to admit that I'm scared. I can't hide.
"Ready?" Brian asked me, pulling his keys out of the car. I sigh and think for a moment. I'm not ready at all, but I have to be strong.
"Yeah.. Yes, I'm ready."
Brian nodded while starring off into space. He opens his car door and gets out, closing the door behind him. I hesitantly do the same. I walked forward and once Brian had reached me, he wrapped an arm around my back. We almost look like a gay couple, but really he's just trying to protect me. And I'm never embarrassed about that.
We walk in and walk through the hallway until we got to our band's personal room. Brian rubbed up and down my back one last time before pulling his hand away. "Alright.. let's do this." He whispered. My nerves grow as Brian slowly opened the door and we walked in to see Luke talking to Freddie and John happily.
They all turn to us. Fred and Deaky looked relieved that we showed up okay and a line appeared between Luke's eyebrows. I stepped behind Brian, subtley shielding myself. Just seeing Luke again made me feel unsafe and scared. The whole time Freddie and John started asking us where we had been, Luke didn't say a word, he was just looking at me, with a slight grin. He knows I'm scared.
"Ok now that the whole band is here, can I explain how the book is going and what's going to be in it?" Luke said, looking at the rest of the men.
"Of course!" Freddie yelled happily, not wasting any time to sit in one of the four chairs in a row that sat across from one chair. John sits next to Freddie, who's on the end. Brian walks over slowly, making sure I'm close behind, following him. Brian sits next to John and then I sit next to Brian on the other end.
Luke then sat down in the chair across from all of us, with his hands tangled together and his legs crossed.
"Alright, First the book dives into Freddie's life after talking about the band itself, and then talks about John's life, proceeding onto Brian's, and last but not least.." He paused and looked at me with an eerie smile. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. "Roger's life.""Sounds Good, Luke! Anything you would like to expand on or are you fine with the information we have given you?" Freddie said, sitting up a bit happily. Luke looked at him and grinned, wasting no time to sit up as well. "Actually, I think I might have more questions for Roger, they might be a little personal so I might have to ask him them in another room;"
Oh God no, please no.
Brian cleared his throat, "Well, personally I think you've obtained enough information from Roger.. right guys?"
Brian lowered his voice for the last two words of his sentence, forcing the boys to agree with him, they had no clue why but somehow went along with it. "Um, I agree I guess." John said, with the corners of his eyes crinkling. Freddie nodded along, seeming to agree with us.
Luke's eyelids drop and I watch his pupils trace from Brian, and then back to me. "Alright then." Luke stood up, "I'll continue writing then, thanks for the short meet up I guess."
I close my eyes and quietly sigh in relief as the three men stood up to send a farewell to Luke once again. Of course to look normal, of course I had to shake his hand too. I stand up and held my hand out to Luke. He grabbed it and shook it, but it was a tight grasp. I starred down at our hands, without even looking up. He wouldn't let go for already about four seconds. Then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up to see it's Brian, glaring down at look as his hand was on my shoulder. Luke looked threatened by Brian and let go of my hand.
At that point, it felt like bricks were lifted off of my shoulders.
----------------------------------------------------"If there's anything I can do for you, Brian. I'll do it! How can I repay you?" I say for the thousandth time as we walk into Brian's flat. He laughs. "Again, Rog. You don't owe a thing."
I was so happy I got out of that situation. I couldn't thank Brian enough, he's my lord and savior!
I collapsed onto his sofa. "Want to watch a show?" I questioned, willing to do anything. Brian shook his head. "Because I forgot to this morning, I have a shower to attend to, but we can after."
I make a fake gagging face, "Ew.."
Brian only chuckled and started to walk off, "Don't act like you haven't showered for at least a week, Mr. 'There's no point in showering'."
"Hey! That was a long time ago!" I yell, right before I heard a door shut after hearing a snicker. I stretch out my body as I'm layed down on the sofa and I start to close my eyes. This has to be and must be the most relieving day of my life.
I yawn and close my eyes completely.
What would I ever do without him? He's sweet, selfless, intelligent, and handsome as hell.
I rethink what I just thought and shake my head.
He's handsome... for a boy!
I chuckle to myself and happily continue thinking about him, and how kind he was. Suddenly interuppting me from my daydream, the telephone rings from the table in front of the sofa I was laying on. I groan and cover my fave with my hands. It was annoying, but I might as well had seen who was calling Brian.
I stand up and lift the phone from the telephone hatch. "Hello?" I say, in a normal, casual tone. "Oh this is perfect Roger! I'm so glad you picked up the phone instead of Brian." The voice was familiar, and I knew exactly who it was straight off the bat and my eyes had widened, not because I'm shocked, but because I'm scared.
It was Luke.
