Kirito POV:

"Man that was a long flight"

"What are you complaining about, you were asleep for more than three-fourths of the flight," Eugeo said jokingly

"Yea I guess, but it felt long"

Suguha and Alice were laughing at the two of us bickering and soon Eugeo and I joined in. It felt good being reunited with Eugeo and Alice after just being back together for little over a week. It was as though the two of them had never left my side.

We had just arrived at the Japanese airport and were now just going through the process of entry into the country. Suguha and I were lucky due to us still being citizens of Japan because of us not living long enough in the states to be considered citizens. Eugeo and Alice had been questioned quite a bit more because of their study visa's that had allowed them to stay in Europe. After an hour of going through the entry process and grabbing our bags from the luggage claim, we made our way over to the entrance of the airport and planned our course of action from there.

"How about Alice and I get us checked into a hotel and grab some things we will need" Suguha asked

"Sure that sounds good to me. I need to head over to somewhere to meet an old friend. What do you plan to do Eugeo" I said

"Well, I never really had anything planned, but I was hoping to go see my parents. But I can do that tomorrow after getting well rested today, in the meantime I'll join"

"Sounds fine to me" I said while looking over to Alice and Suguha who nodded in agreement

"You guys can leave your bags here and head towards your destination, Suguha and I will take a taxi after we find a hotel and bring them along in a taxi. I'll text you the address of the hotel once we get there"

Eugeo and I nodded at her and we said our goodbyes. We grabbed a taxi and told the driver our destination. During the beginning of the drive, both of us stayed silent and admired the changes that occurred in Japan.

"It sure has changed it the four years I haven't been here, huh" Eugeo said breaking the silence.

"Oh right, you haven't come back for four years. And here I thought I was going to get a view"

"Still must be shocking to you though. After all, you've been trapped in a medieval game of swords and shields"

"Yea I guess your right, but I'm kinda used to it now after being back for a month and also living in the States"

"True. So anyway, who are we going to meet?"

"He's an old friend of mine from SAO. Known him since the first-floor boss raid and he has helped me out plenty of times. He's a good guy if it weren't for him, I probably would have died on the boss raid I met him"

"REALLY! He must be some guy then..."

"Hey now, don't be getting jealous. It might come as a shock to you, but I made a couple of friends when I was trapped"

"WHAT, you made friends. You sure your Kazuto. The Kazuto I remember is the one kid who stayed in the classroom during lunch break all alone. So Mr. popular, how many friends did you make. Three" He said while smirking at me
