"Man, your head," Jacob said, looking at the blood.

Bella brought her hand up to the bleeding cut. "Ow," she said before pulling her fingers away to see the blood. "Oh, my God. I'm sorry."

"What, you're apologizing for bleeding?" Jake asked.

Bella looked down in realization. "Yeah, I guess I am," she muttered.

"Well, it's just blood, Bella. No big deal," Jacob assured her.

The teenage boy stood up and took off his shirt. Hayley couldn't help but stare at his toned chest, and apparently neither could Bella. After taking it off, he bent back down and carefully placed it on Bella's head. Bella stared at him as he did this, wincing occasionally when he applied pressure.

"What are you staring at?" Jake asked Bella.

"You're sort of beautiful," Bella said with a small smile.

Hayley let out a small chuckle. "How hard did you hit you head?" She asked.

Bella shook her head. "I don't know," she answered.

"Let's go," Jake said, helping Bella up.

"I'm sorry for wasting you time with the bikes," Bella said quietly.

"Don't be. I'm sure I can find someone who's interested in buying them," Jake told her.

"I am," Hayley said.

Jake turned towards the girl with a smile. "Really? You?" He questioned.

"I can't have Bella keep driving me around everywhere," Hayley said with a shrug.

Jacob nodded his head. "Alright. Guess you got yourself a bike," he told her.

"Yes!" Hayley exclaimed happily.

"I did see something in the woods," Angela said.

"Totally. Baby, I believe you," Eric said, grabbing his girlfriend's hand.

"No, he doesn't. He's just trying to get lucky," Jessica said.

Hayley laughed at Eric's expression. "Oh, my gosh! She's right," she said, pointing at the Asian boy.

"No, okay. It was jet black and huge," Angela continued. "On all fours, it was still taller than a person. A bear, maybe?"

"Or an alien. You're lucky you didn't get probed," Mike teased.

"Well, I saw it," Angela said.

"You know, you're not the only one," a new voice spoke up, making Hayley look up to see Bella. "My dad's been getting reports at the station. Like, five hikers have been killed by some bear. But they can't find the bear."

"Hmm," Angela said, glancing at Eric.

Eric laughed awkwardly. "Last time you clowns doubt my girlfriend," he said.

"Glad to see you're back," Hayley whispered to Bella.

"Yeah," Bella said with a small nod.

Mike leaned over and cleared his throat, sending a look at Hayley. The Kenner girl narrowed her eyes at the boy before reluctantly scooting away from Bella and joining in a conversation with Jessica. Hayley thought it was a little messed up that Mike was already hitting on her, since he and Jessica just broke up.

"Do you guys wanna go see Face Punch?" Bella asked the group after a short conversation with Mike.

"Sure," Hayley agreed, thinking about inviting Cole and John.
