Chapter One

‘Something needs to be done about those new kids’ a voice half shouted as he paced what looked to be the length of a basement. He bit his lip when he received no answers from the other four people in the room. He hissed as he realised he drew blood.

‘Himchan control yourself’ another voice scolded this time it belonged to a lean figure leaning against the back wall. The now identified Himchan turned towards him in rage.

‘Control myself! That’s what I’ve been doing the last two months while those punks ran amuck on our turf.’

He turned his dark eyes towards the other three members. Himchan, Young Jae, Dae Hyun, Jong Up only little Zelo seemed to be missing.

‘That’s what we’ve all been doing’

‘No respect.’ He spat. ‘Those little boys have no respect. Just who do-‘

‘ Himchan be quiet’

a raspy voice whispered interupting his rant each syllable travelled through the entire room causing all members to turn towards their quiet leader.

‘You’re right’ he continued and leaned back against his chair crossing his jean clad legs and smiled at his subordinates . Himchan smirked to himself happy to see his argument acknowledged.Yong Guk sat in a recliner surounded by his boys. He pulled down his hood letting his dark locks fall into his eyes and a wide smile spread across his face. He should have taken action the moment he crossed their territory border but his hopes that the could co-exist in peace were shattered. He looked around the room.

‘I think it’s time we take those little boys back to school and teach them a lesson they will never forget’

Run run jump turns run faster come on’ he thought as he zoomed through the streets. Soeul was a large city and this part of town of made of deadends, short streets, shortcuts and crowded shops. You could always spot a vistor form their lost expression as they travelled the streets. But he was no tourist he had grown up on these streets. Each turn came as naturally to him as breathing. He could do this blindfolded. People around here called the streets veins, they twisted and turned around the city carrying the people to their destinations. He smiled to himself. If the streets were the viens then they all went to the heart. And he believed if anyone was  the heart of this city it was his leader and brother Yong Guk.  Yong Guk had saved his life once and for that he was forever grateful. The figure expertly danced through the crowds his movements swift and fluid. For once he was thankful for his slim long legs as he leaped over a stray box and skidded around another corner just as the first drops of rain fell. This was bad, he couldn't risk his uniform getting wet, his mom would kill him but he had to keep going if he was going to make it to the meeting. The rain pelted down even harder, ‘Shit’ he cursed at himself and ducked into the entrance of the building closest to him. He shook his hair out still cursing the rain as the checked the time on his watch. ‘FUCK!’ he exclaimed as he realised how late he was. He knew how frustrated Young Jae got whenever he was late, he could already see it, the disapproving gaze followed by that know it all voice.

‘Shit shit shit I’m so dead’ he looked out at the rain where it just seemed to get worse every second. Suddenly he heard someone cough.

‘You know there are children present’

he turned blinking and immediately locked eyes with a pair of frighteningly bright blue eyes the eyes belonged to a girl standing feet apart hands on her waist as she stared him down she was a good foot shorter than him and looked the same age as him but something about the way she held herself made her seem older.

‘The rain doesn’t burn you know’

She motioned to the way he glanced worriedly at the rain. he had forgotten about that for a second and cursed loudly again. A small cherub face poked out from behind her to look at him but squeaked frightened when he smiled sheepishly back.

‘Why are you here anyway?’ She asked getting more defensive when she realised her little charge was scared of him. She centered herself blocking the little face from him again.

‘I was-er-never mind’ glancing back once more at the strange duo; he hitched his school bag over his head to use as an umbrella and continued his sprint down the street once again joining the flow of the city.

‘You know it wouldn’t hurt for us to have these meetings a little closer to my school’

Zelo pant out as he entered the basement of the abandoned primary school their leader had chosen as their new meeting place as soon as it a vacated. At first it used to smell like chalk and old people a combination he hated very much but the more time they spent in it the less nauseating it became.

He smiled but his face froze as he noticed the stony face of his leader. He immediately cleared his expression and joined his other members in the semi circle they had formed around their seated leader.

Yong Guk nodded to Zelo. They were all here now. The gang consisted of dozens of people working together to keep the city flowing but they were the key players the captains and Yong Guk was their General.

‘For the last few weeks we have tried to keep the peace between us and this new group that have seen it fit to situate themselves in our home’ he began making sure each member was looking at him.

‘But we will no longer allow them to roam free. They have stolen from us, threatened our allies, mocked us and spat at the peace we have attempted to offer them. So it’s time to show them what we do to those who disobey us.’

He smiled at them once again.

‘Who are we?’

He asked

‘B.A.P.’

They answered in unison.

‘Who are we?’ he whispered once again.

‘B.A.P!!’ they all shouted.

‘And what do we show to those who cross us?’

‘NO MECRY!’

Zelo smirked his Monday just got a lot more interesting.
