Unbound

Sketch couldn't see. She lashed out blindly, but her claw only hit air. She swung her tail around, trying to hit one of her attackers. Satisfaction flowed through her as her target was hit and let go. Sketch reached up and slashed the blindfold. She let out a small gasp. 

The Absol from earlier was in front of her, staring at her with soulless eyes. There was the snap of a twig behind her, and Sketch turned to see a Banette's golden zipper. It snickered as she stumbled back. 

Sketch clenched a fist. So there Pokemon were trying to stop her from getting home. Well, they would learn. 

The Absol blinked. 'Do not attack.'

Sketch's charged Shadow Ball dissipated immediately. 

The Banette appeared next to Sketch and snatched her headband. It passed to the Absol and disappeared once more. 

Sketch let out a soft growl. 'Give that back.'

The Absol held it up. 'This? No... I think I'll keep it for a while.'

Sketch let out a snarl that surprised herself as well as the Absol. The Disaster Pokemon sighed and tossed the headband towards her. Sketch put it on, making sure to secure it tightly. 

'Who are you?' she asked, her voice dangerously soft. The Absol regarded her with prone eyes. 

'They once called me Chara.'

'Well, Chara, I may be small, but I am not to be underestimated.'

Chara blinked. Her eyesight went to a spot behind Sketch. Sketch turned around to see the Banette approaching again. It was carrying a Dusk Stone. Chara looked at it and shook her head.

'Wrong stone, Specter. We need a Dawn Stone, not Dusk.'

The Banette gave her an annoyed look. 

Chara sighed. 'I know you're annoyed, but just look a little harder. I know I saw one around here'

Sketch remembered spotting a Dusk Stone at a nearby stand. She cleared her throat, grabbing the other two Pokémon's attention.

'If I can interject, I might know where you can get one.'

Specter looked excited, but Chara narrowed her eyes. 'Why should we trust you?'

'You don't have to, but I doubt you want to spend another Arceus knows how long searching for another one.'

'I'm fine with that.'

Specter threw a furious look at the Absol. 'I'm not fine with that!'

Sketch snickered. Trickery at its finest.

After what seemed like hours of arguing with Specter, Chara sighed and gave in. She turned to Sketch. 

'Show us where this is. Deceive us, and I will kill you.'

Sketch shrugged and turned to lead the two into the maze of stands.
