《Yo! Like I said last chapter,  this is gonna be like a narration though a fast forward to the present or something like that.》

-Narrator pov-

As YN started to grow into the maze. So did her surroundings. Vines started to cover the walls, and YN started to climb them. Reaching the top and seeing the outside world, and seeing the Glade.

She also met the rest of the Grievers. Who she named: Kevin, Bob, Steve, Sam, Marisa,  Jennifer, Mary, and finally Sue.

YN also learned the they liked to stay in certain places, in certain sections. Kevin always stayed in section 7. Bob would stay in 5, Steve in 2. Sam in 6, Marisa in 1. Jennifer in 3, Mary in 8 and Sue in 4.

She also learned that whenever a certain griever was out, the maze would change. She adjusted to the changes and always made a new way to get around.

With the supplies left by her parents, she was able grow a massive garden in the maze. It survived somehow, and YN slept in a hammock made from vines and a sheet that was left for her.

As time went on, YN found herself walking along the walls and looking into the Glade. But she never went inside it. Because she was worried she'd never get back out.

When it rained, which it rarely did. She would stay in the big box that her parents left her. She still had can food, not that she needed it. And she had clothes for when she grew older. Which came in handy when she would accidentally rip her clothes while climbing the maze.

And in the last items her parents gave her, was a pistol with plenty of bullets. And a hatchet and a knife.

She would always carry the knife in case she needed to cut a vine, or to cut her shirt to wrap up a wound. But the gun she kept in her box along with her hatchet.

As for any wounds, she luckily had bandages and ointment. But nothing for fevers and colds. So she only had the basic survival first aid kit.

But, one day. She looked into the Glade after hearing a noise. That's when she saw the first glader.

-Your pov-

I ring rang out throughout the maze. I shot up from inside my box, and waited for another sound. When nothing came, I headed for the vines, and climbed quickly up the wall.

I pulled myself up, and looked around the edge or the Maze. Nothing but sand as usual. Then I turn around and look towards the center of the maze. Where the only green patch of actual grass and trees are.

I ran across the walls, and jumped at the edge. I feel the breeze flow past me, making my hair flow in waves. I landed the jump with no problem, as usual. And I continue to run, twisting and turning when I need to.

And when I reach the last green area, I crouch over the edge. I see nothing unusual, until I see something crawling out of the box. My (e/c) eyes widen, and I sprint to the other part of the square wall to get a closer look.

And sure enough, I see a dark skinned boy crawling out of the box. I stare at him with a frown on my face.

'Is this the type of person my mother warned me about?' I say to myself.

I notice him standing up and looking around, and I lay against the burning stone to hide my presence from him.

He soon starts walking into the forest area, and I decided to make a bed here tonight. To keep watch over this person.

"Hello!? Is anyone here!?" The boy yells.

I watch him as he panics slighty, and soon enough he passes out. Most likely from shock or something.

I watch him for a minute, before getting up to make my bed. I look around around for thick vines, and I try to yank a few off the wall below me. Only for them to barely move.

I sigh in frustration, and grab my knife from my boots. I bite the side of the knife and carefully start climbing down the vines. I grab my knife and put it behind the thickest vine, and slowly start cuting it off the wall.

I smirk slightly as it loosens from the wall. And then I start cutting another vine from the wall.

After cutting about three thick vines, I climb back to the top. I fall on my back, and sigh. Feeling the aching in my arms from holding myself up for so long.

I pull my fingerless black gloves down again as I sit back up. I run my hand through my shoulder length (h/c) hair, and pull my bangs out of my face. I crawl to the edge and pull the vines, and hear a satisfying snap as they fully break away from the wall.

I bring them up, and start weaving them together. Once they are woven tightly together, I I wrap one end around one big set of vines, and the other end around the other half of the vines.

I look down at my vine woven hammock, as it hangs of the side of the wall. And I slowly step down onto it, and carefully lay down. When it doesn't fall, I pull myself up and lay down on the stone wall and look at the boy.

I notice that he started to go through the box that he came out off. And started eating some food. I laugh lightly when my stomach rumbles, and reach into my sack that I brought with me. Amd I bring out some berries that I grew.

I think my mom called them strawberries,  but I'm not sure.

I bite into one and smile when flavor bursts into my mouth. I look back at the boy and see him. . . . I don't even know.

He swings a ax and starts cutting down a tree. My eyes widen when it falls down. I continue to pop food into my mouth until I'm full, and watch him start moving around.

The day drags on, and I grow tired when I notice that he hasn't come out of the forst for a while. I stand up and yawn while walking to the edge. And I carefully lay down into my vine hammock.

I close my eyes, and whisper "Goodnight Kevin." As I hear a shriek from far away.

And then I fall asleep.

《So what did ya think? Good, bad? Leave a comment of what you thought of this chapter.

And ya, I decided that it would always be YN, cause I don't wanna give a name. Soo ya. And h/c is hair color, e/c is eye color.

Next chapter will be a time skip to where we see Newt! Not immediately at the beginning of the chapter. But close to the beginning. And I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and hopefully next chapter will be updated soon!

So until then.

Later ya Shanks!
