After their passionate and cozy time when Manik made Nandini sit and jogged to the driver sit his phone rang, it was Cabir. But till Nandini fish the phone and picks it up it went off. That's when she saw there were 42 miss calls on his phone. Scared she checked her phone which had equal number of miscalls. Manik sat and saw her frown.

"Kya hua ..." His phone rang again and Nandini picked it up without any delay

"Manik! Kaha hai tu? Jaha bhi hai please ghar aa, jaldi, Dad, you please come home" Cabir ranted non stop

"Bhir, what Happened?" Nandini asked panicked and Manik was already driving

"Nandu please jaldi aa" Cabir's voice said he was crying

MaNan entered the house running, Manik saw a team of doctors there

"What happened?" he rushed to see his mother crying

"Mumma" he Walked to Neyonika like a lost kid

"Manik" Neyonika found her besides and hugged him crying

"Kya ho gaya?" He asked but didn't get an answer, he lost it and when he saw one of the doctor he launch like a rabbit

"What happened to my Dad?" he asked a tinge of fear, helplessness and panick in his voice

"He is fine it was just a gastric problem and even his diabetes has shot up"

"I have controlled both giving meds and dressed his wounds to" the doctor informed

"What wounds?" Nandini asked

"Nothing major" the doctor assured

"He is up and..." Before he completed they saw Manik darting upstairs yo his parents room in speed of light

Bragging the door Manik entered the room making Shrikant open his eyes. He was sitting leaning to the headrest of the bed. Manik ran and hugged him tightly

"You fine na?" he asked checking the forehead wound

"Manik main thik hu" he assured

"Nahi aap thik nahi ho, you won't do any tantrums and take all the treatment, you get that Dad" Manik said he was getting hyper

"I am fine" Shrikant dismissed

"And be strong one day you can get news of this old man die" he joked

"Dad" Manik hugged him

"Nine years away from you but the fact that you are fine and breathing kept me sane, never, NEVER EVER say that" he pleaded

After nine year, nine years, Shrikant ruffled his hairs

"Hey Champ!" he said broke the hug and creas Manik's hairs

"I was just joking" he said and Manik kept his head near his father's heart

"I don't like such jokes" he mumbled

"I am sorry Manik" and Manik knew it was not just apology for his joke but all this years

"You don't need to" Manik said as Shrikant held his son close

"I failed you, your upbringing, I needed a punishment" he said as Shrikant continuously creased his hairs

"You know I love you and you are my most priced possession, Ofcourse, after your Mom" Shrikant said and patted Manik's shoulder

"I know" Manik gave a boish grin

"Having family time without me Malhotra's?" They turned to see Neyonika standing there with a sad pout
