Diane gasped as she watched the chains fell on the floor, she looked at Helbram who glared at her slightly.
"Look I'm not doing this because of I don't give a damn but... I can't stand watching a friend I know suffer because his giant girlfriend is separated from him." The fairy admitted, he then glances at the cell door. "I'm going to struggle to get you out of here but I just needed to check a few things and then we can work out how to get you out of here. Can you stand?"
The giantess' eyes were cloudy, it showed that she was in shock and was out of this world.
"Oh for Supreme Deity's sake.. HEY!" It was at this moment that Diane snapped out of it, she looked down at Helbram.
"Yes!"
"I said can you stand. Or else I'm just leaving you to Vivian. Demon Realm knows what she will do to you."
At that moment, Diane tried to stand up, her feet felt like they were pierced with needles, her legs were shaking so much while she stood due to being chained into certain position for the time she had spent in the prison. She almost lost her balance twice but manages to stand although she was trembling on the spot.
"Don't fall otherwise you might cause an earthquake..." Helbram mumbled under his breath, he then sighed. "Can you take a few steps forward. I won't hurt you." Diane nodded and tried to lift up her feet but fire flared inside her legs and she closes her eyes. Her feet dragged across the floor. Dragging her feet would relieve the pain slightly but trying to life them was like dead weight to her.
Helbram sighed and looked at the giantess.
"Alright at least dragging your feet sounds like moving. Alright then.. Now to get you out of her."
Helbram scanned the cell before spotting a human sized hole that she could crawl out of... It would be perfect if she was human sized, but how in the world will see be able to fit through as a giant. The fairy put a hand on his chin as he thought.
'Think Helbram think. What would Harlequin do-... ' Helbram bit his fingernail and stood up from the place he was sitting on. "I'll be back."
King gasped as he woke up again, tears rushed down his face like waterfalls. How much longer was he going to hold up like this? His body was getting more fragile by the day. He was feeling weaker and weaker as time clicked by. The brunette bowed his head, causing his hair to cover his face. Blood dripped and dropped on the ground, two pale and scarred feet trembled as the laid flat on the ground. Oh good Supreme Deity it hurt.. He wanted all this suffering to end. What the hell was taking the Sins so long? He needed them. Diane needed them. His ragged breathing filled the atmosphere and he coughed, crimson red liquid poured out his mouth like a waterfall. Was he dying? Maybe it was the torture he had endured? He didn't know. He didn't care. He just wanted to get out the damn place.
"Harlequin."
King usually refused to respond to that name of his but he glanced at who called him anyway. It was no other than Helbram. Didn't Helbram hate him? Oh well.
"Look I'm not here to harm you. But to talk."
"W-What are you going to do...? Force me to reveal the location of the Sins? Well guess what asshole I don't know! They're probably travelling up to Edinburgh for all I care..." The fairy king mumbled under his breath, his tired eyes meeting with the angered eyes of his best friend.
"We've been tricking you." Helbram finally admitted.
"What?"
"We've been tricking you. We've been recording past methods of torture on your beloved giantess and then show to you as if we were torturing her on the spot. So everytime we showed her suffering, it was all done before you woke up and then we proceed to torture. It manipulates the brain and causes an individual to believe that they were the ones that caused the others suffering."
King's eyes widened, it all made sense now.... It showed that he was too late to even stop the torturing even if he tried hard enough... "So when she.. was raped... You mean it was already done before I had watched it...?" Helbram nodded at his response. His heart dropped, he was such a failure.
"Also she's dead."
The fairy king's heart dropped and his eyes stared straight into his friend.
"What?"
"She's dead."
King was struck with distraught. It couldn't be true. His Diane couldn't be dead. It was impossible! The tears, the stupid fucking tears rolled down his face once again but this time it wasn't anger, fear or desperation. It was sadness. He let out a scream and cried once again.. again.. again.
"Harlequin. Harlequin. Look at me."
Helbram was met with a pair of eyes covered with hopelessness. "I'm giving you a choice. Either that I help you escape and then you can warn the other Sins or you sit here and then mourn the death of beloved and then be tortured til the day you disappear from existence. What will you choose?"
The brunette looked at Helbram and tried to compose himself, but failed miserably.
"What will it be Harlequin! I don't have much time! I'm trying to help you as a friend! Do it for me, do it for your sister, do it for.. Diane..." The lime haired fairy pleaded, he watched his former friend and sighed as he didn't receive an answer. "Your call..." The fairy sighed and flew off, he was about to leave..
"Wait!"
