Zephyr decided to leave, and go hide in her secret hiding spot that only she knew about it, well only her and Turid. Zephyr put all the necessary in her little satchel. She put in some food, her sketchbook, her stuff dragon, and last but not least a family drawing. Once Zephyr put in the family drawing she wanted to cry from the memory, that was a time she and her parents hanged out, they did so many things together and now that all faded because of her little brother. Zephyr put on a coat and headed downstairs. She saw her parents still sleeping on the couch, so she tippy toed quietly so she wouldn't wake no one up. Zephyr open the door but before she left she told her parents goodbye and left a letter.
[Zephyr's Letter: Dear, Mommy and Daddy You guys are the best parents any one can ever ask for. I hope you guys understand my decision of me leaving. I tried and tried to avoid this feeling. But every time I come home from somewhere you and dad are always tired. There is never any Mommy and Daddy time for me anymore now that Nuffink here. I love you guys so much. Love Zephyr]. Zephyr open the door and headed to her secret hiding spot. When she got there she put everything down and tried going to sleep but all she thought about was her parents and was she right to leave them.
The next day Hiccup woke up, he got up and smiled at the view of Astrid and Nuffink sleeping. Hiccup wasn't exhausted since Nuffink didn't wake up much in the night. Hiccup went to the kitchen to make Breakfast, something they didn't have in a while. After Hiccup finished he heard Nuffink waking up.
"Shhh its okay Buddy, Daddy got you." Hiccup told Nuffink while grabbing him from Astrid arms. "How about we let mommy sleep, while we go and wake up your sister and eat breakfast." Hiccup told Nuffink. Nuffink smiled at Hiccup. Hiccup smiled back and started heading upstairs to Zephyr room. Hiccup got to Zephyr room and knocked on the door.
"Zephyr, wake up breakfast is ready." There was no response. "Huh.. she usually up this early, she always wakes before us." Hiccup thought to himself. Hiccup knocked on the door again to see if she was awake. "Zephyr are you awake?" Hiccup asked again through the door but once again there was no response. "That's odd, maybe she still sleeping bud." Hiccup told Nuffink. Hiccup tried again but no response. Hiccup decided to open the door and see for himself why Zephyr wasn't awake. When he opened the door and saw the bed with no one in it he started panicking.
"ZEPHYR, WHERE ARE YOU!" Hiccup exclaimed looking everywhere for Zephyr while holding Nuffink. "Zephyr its not funny come out if your playing hide and seek." Hiccup said with a panic voice. Zephyr didn't appear, she was no where to be found. Hiccup looked in all the rooms upstairs but no Zephyr. Hiccup started panicking even more, he decided to head downstairs and look around. He looked and looked and didn't find her. He decided to wake up Astrid maybe she knew where she was.
"M'lady wake up." Hiccup told Astrid nudging her. Astrid responded with a groan but she didn't wake up. "Please Astrid wake up." Hiccup said trying to wake up Astrid.
"Hiccup.. what's wrong?" Astrid said tiredly sitting up.
"ZEPHYR MISSING ASTRID!" Hiccup shouted.
"WHAT! HICCUP WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE MISSING!"Astrid shouted."
"I MEAN SHE MISSING ASTRID, SHE'S NO WHERE IN THE HOUSE, I CHECKED EVERYWHERE BUT SHE NOT HOME.!" Hiccup exclaimed still holding Nuffink in his arms.
"But where could she have gone Hiccup, she never leaves the house without permission or without telling us where she going. Hiccup we have to find her, I can't lose my little girl Hiccup.. I can't." Astrid said sobbing.
"Don't worry M'lady we won't lose her. We will find her even if it takes forever I promise." Hiccup told Astrid hugging her and handing her Nuffink calming her down. Hiccup and Astrid left the house asking everyone in the village for a meeting, but not one of them saw the letter on the desk in the living room.
Everyone was in the Meade Hall. It was very loud in there that no one inside could hear what Hiccup was tiring to say. Every time Hiccup tried talking some one always interrupted. Astrid had just enough, it was her daughter missing after all.
"EVERYONE BE QUIET AND LISTEN UP!" Astrid shouted, everyone in the village shut themselves up because most of them were afraid of what Astrid could do. "WE CALLED YOU ALL HERE BECAUSE OF AN EMERGENCY, MY DAUGHTER ZEPHYR IS MISSING! Astrid shouted. Mostly everyone gasped and once again it started getting loud. Astrid made everyone quiet down again and started speaking again. "IF ANY OF YOU GUYS SEEN HER PLEASE TELLL ME WHERE SHE IS!" Astrid shouted. No one in the village said a word, that meant no one has seen her. Astrid started to get worried and wanted to cry again, but Hiccup saw her and pulled her in closer hugging her tighter. "I NEED EVERYONE THAT IS AVAILABLE ON THER FEET LOOKING FOR MY DAUGHTER!" Hiccup shouted, he excused everyone in the village and as he said everyone in the village that was available started looking for Zephyr. Hiccup and Astrid kept looking they had Nuffink with them since Valka and Gobber were helping out. They decide to drop him off with Ruffnut since she wasn't helping looking for Zephyr since she was taking care of Turid.
