"better than knitting" i jump out the chair and throw my jumper on.
"so, Pogo said dad killed himself to get us all back together right?" Five starts pacing around the room as Klaus stumbles to put some clothes on.
"yeah so?"
"so it got me thinking, i had to jump to the future to figure out when it happened, but dad, he can't time travel. So how'd the crazy bastard actually know to kill himself a week before the end of the world?" Five asks as i can see the gears in his brain turning to find the answer.
"well, you know" Klaus starts but Five interrupts.
"don't answer. That was purely rhetorical" Five points at him as i stifle my laughter 'truth is, our whole lives hes been telling us we'd save the world from an impending apocalypse"
"i thought he just did that to scare us into doing the dishes" i shrug as i pick up a toy soldier that was sitting on Klaus' desk.
"me too, but what if the old man really knew it was going to happen?" he asks again as i put the soldier back on his desk as soon as Klaus finishes putting shoes on.
"yeah but knew how?"
"no idea, but the fact remains his fakakta plan worked, we all came home. Since we're here we might as well save the world" Five finishes determinedly.
"oh yeah? what like the three of of?" Klaus puts on the same top he was wearing before.
"uh, well ideally no but, gotta work with what i got" Five tells us as i throw Klaus his jacket and we start walking out the door.
Footsteps running down the hall make us all look up and see Diego rushing into his room and throwing his jacket off.
"where have you been young man" i ask in a mock strict tone.
"Jail" Diego answers simply, not having time for my games "long story. Where's Luther?"
"haven't seen him since breakfast" Five says truthfully.
"yeah two days until the world ends, he picks a great time to drop off the grid" Klaus comments as Diego rushes to put on his combat gear.
"shit, Allison is in danger" Diego tells us as we all share worried glances.
"well what are we waiting for, lets go find the ape"

We had looked all over the city, trying to find Luther and we had ended up in a old style bar.
"look" Klaus pointed in a direction and we all look to see the depressed Luther downing a beer.
"trying a little hair of the dog are we?" Klaus questions him as i look at him confused, what does that even mean?
"leave me alone" Luther grumbles, not in the mood for talking.
"give us a minute" Diego gestures at the tree of us as we look at him in disbelief, he wants us to leave him alone with Luther? the two hate each other.
"okay come on, maybe they'll brood each other to death" Klaus convinces us as we stand at a near by table.
We stand in silence as we wait for Diego to convince Luther, they both look in our direction for a second before Luther is jumping out his seat and rushing out the door, with us following.
"shit" Luther mumbles as he harshly pulls the door open, breaking it as he goes.

We all rushed into the car and i got the sort end of the straw, having to squish between Luther and Diego as we zoom down the road.
