The duplicate//the umbrella academy

I jump out of bed as more explosions go off.

Running into the hall way, i'm met with all but two of my sibling.

"yo what the hell is going on?" Diego questions as he runs down the hall.

'are those explosions coming f--" before Klaus can finish his sentence, Luther does for him.

"Vanya" 

"we need to get to safety out side the academy" Pogo instructs us as the house rumbles.

Klaus grabs my arm and goes to drag me down the hall but i remember something.

I rip my arm out of his grasp as he looks at me confused " go, i'll met you out side"

He hesitantly nods before leaving as Luther calls out after them "don't forget mum"

I rush into the room opposite me and quickly search it for Five, not seeing him anywhere.

Not knowing if he was back yet or not, i run out the room as i see Allison and Luther up ahead.

They rush up the stairs and i go to follow but Vanya comes from down the hall and i'm forced to hide into the closest room that just so happens to be Diego's.

An explosion comes from Klaus's room as i quickly shut the door but don't have enough time before Vanya has slammed it opened.

"Vanya" my voice shakes as her now white eyes land on me "what are you doing? why are you doing this?"

Her eyes flicker back to the brown they were before but she looks at something on Diego's bed and they go back to White.

She raises her hand up and throws me out the room with her power.

I hit the wall with a thud as the breath is knocked out of me.

Vanya exits Diego's room with out sparing me a glance as Diego's room explodes.

I quickly get up and start to go up the stairs as more explosions come from where i just was.

my pace slows as a searing pain comes from my stomach, i look down and see blood coating my clothes as my stitches must of opened up.

"shit" i curse as i lean against the wall for support.

the roof starts to crack and pieces fall as i dodge to the best of my ability, the ones i can't dodge i create a portal for.

As i walk i see Allison and Luther ahead and turn down the flight of stairs.

A groan to the left of me makes my head snap in the direction to see Pogo impaled by antler horns.

"Pogo!" i gasp as tears pool up on my eyes.

He shakily turns his head to me and the fear inside his eye intensifies as he realizes i haven't made it out yet.

I look down and see Vanya staring up at me, i try to move towards the stairs but the floor underneath me collapses.

I fall to the floor below as dust and gravel fall on top of me.

I slightly turn my head to see the now dead Pogo hanging there.

"Vanya" i whimper as she stands over me, a look of guilt on her face before her hard exterior returns.

She turns away and leaves without a second glance as i'm left there to either bleed to death, or get crushed.

With the last of my strength, i create portal underneath me with no clear destination.

i peel my eyes open to nothingness, all around me i see black as i float through the time between.

Didn't know i could do that.
