"Poppy. Calm down." Elijah stood where he was.
"And do what? Nothing you say can fix this, Elijah!" His niece's eyes returned to normal. The sky above them became darkened by clouds. "He's not going to change, so screw him. Screw this stupid prophecy." Thunder boomed above them. "And screw these god awful visions." With anger, she used her magic to throw the couch back across the room. She hadn't noticed the brief exchange between Kol and Elijah. Blood dripped from her nose, and her head pounded in pain. "He's so mean." She turned to Elijah, who stood alone.
Elijah frowned a bit. "What happened?"
"He's been making me feel so weak." She told him, her voice softer. "Every bad decision I've made..he's been using it against me. He doesn't even care that I'm not with him right now. Why is he like this?"
Her uncle sighed. "Your father, whenever he's hurt he turns it into anger."
"Why is he hurt?"
"Because you hurt him Poppy." Elijah took a step forward. "You both have been hurting each other." He looked around at the mess she had made. "This whole prophecy thing, it has everyone on edge."
Poppy wiped a tear from under her eye. She hadn't intended to hurt her dad. She began to cry. "But I didn't mean to hurt him."
"I know, Poppy."
She looked around as it began to rain. "I don't want to hurt him..I don't want to hurt anybody.." She brought her hand to her forehead. In the moment she felt vulnerable, and she was. Thunder rolled up ahead, and lightning struck one of the railing, giving an extremely loud band and a bright flash of light.
Elijah held his arms up in front of his body in defense, and Poppy stumbled away from the railings into the center of the courtyard. She held her hands over her ears, hearing a high pitch ringing sound.
"What happened? Is everyone okay?" Freya sounded, walking into the courtyard. She looked up at the rain, confused by the sudden change in weather. Behind her stood Finn, in his original body.
Poppy felt a slight prick in her neck, and something was injected into her neck. It didn't hurt, but it made her relax, physically and mentally. She lowered her hands to her side, and she wobbled a bit, dizzy.
"What...?" She furrowed her eyebrows, bringing her hand to her neck. She didn't feel anything. The floor rocked out from underneath her feet, and she felt herself fall.
Freya frowned, watching as her niece fell into Kol's arms. Poppy leaned her head into his chest before he lifted her up bridal style.
"I've got you, darling." He said softly.
"What is going on here?" Freya asked her brothers.
Elijah looked at his sister as the rain stopped and the clouds cleared up. He, along with Kol and Poppy, were wet. "She was spiraling, I had to subdue her."
"Spiraling? Has this happened before?"
He nodded. "A while back..her mind, her emotions, were damaged by something the Ancestors had done. She would take a dose of witch herbal stuff everyday to keep herself in control. Without it..heads would roll." He looked at his brother and niece. "Take her up to her north side bedroom. Up the stairs to floor 3, turn left. Sixth room to the right."
Kol nodded and left the courtyard.
"Why is she even here?" Freya questioned. "Where's Silas and the baby?"
"I don't know where they are, but it sounds like she and Klaus got into another argument." Elijah said, walking to the couch and fixing it.
Freya frowned. "He wouldn't push her away though, would he? It's not safe for her here, he knows that."
