After a particularly rough full moon, Remus returned to the common room with the rest of the marauders by his side. I see fresh scars on his face and my heart breaks for him. The poor boy has done nothing but be a kind human. He doesn't deserve this fate.
He limps over to me and I run into his arms. James,Sirius and Peter leave us and retire to bed. "Remus, are you alright?" "I'm fine love. Don't worry about me." I could tell he was lying. I could see it in his eyes. "Remus..." I put my hand on his cheek. He looked at me with tears in his eyes.
My heart broke further. " Do you know how hard it is for me? Every month, you, James , Sirius and Peter, stay awake and help me. I don't deserve it. You deserve a better boyfriend. One who can help you and stay by you through your life. Why did you choose me?" "Because I love you."

"I understand it's hard for you Remus. But remember , me and all your friends help you because we want to." I smiled at him and pulled him to sit next to me on the couch.
I put my hand into his and spoke softly. "We are here for you always." He smiled at me sadly. "You deserve better." "But I want you."

"I can't, support a family love. You know that. If you stay wit me, you'll ruin your future..." I sighed. He doesn't get it does he? His insecurities always get the better of him. I put my hands on his cheeks and he leaned into my touch. I kissed his forehead and then his nose.

I stopped singing and saw tears streaming down his face. "You mean so much to me do you know that?" "I do Remus, I do." I pulled him up and began to dance with him.

I remembered the time I first met Remus. I was in the library, trying to pull out a book from a high shelf, and he came and helped me. From that day we met everyday, and our friendship turned into love when he finally asked me out in out fifth year.

When Remus told me he was a werewolf, be expected me to run away screaming my head off. I never judged him. His furry little problem wasn't his fault. To me he was a kind soft hearted boy who deserved all the love in the world. I made sure he knew that, but he had trouble understanding that.

I ran my fingers on his scars, carefully, as not to hurt him. He looked at me with so much love it made me physically weak. "You know love, you're the only one I let touch my scars, for it makes me feel accepted." I smiled at him.

Every morning I wake up and fall in love with him again. We've been together for two years now. I've never been happier than with him. I sang again.

I love him so much and I want to be with him all my life. As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice Remus getting on one knee. He wasn't proposing was he? "Rem-" "No love. Don't talk. I'm not proposing, not yet atleast. This is a promise ring. I love you and want to be with you. One day we will get married and I will propose again." I pulled him into a kiss and I felt him mumble 'I love you' against my lips.

9 years later.
I felt hands around my waist when I woke up for work one morning. I turned around and kissed Remus on the nose. "I need to go love." "No stay here." I sighed and stayed put. A while later I managed to pry through his grip.
I walked into my son's room. Harry and Teddy shared a room. Teddy was four and Harry six. After the Potter's had been killed, Remus and I worked very hard to get him out of his horrible aunt's house. Sirius was in azkaban and I was still working on his case. I was a lawyer in the wizengamot and that was my job.
I woke up both the boys and went to get changed. When I was out I saw Remus making the children breakfast. "Goodmorning love." I sat down to eat my breakfast and my boys sat around me.
I sent the children to their room to get their bags when Remus came behind me and put his hands around my waist. I turned and kissed him. "I love you so much. " "I love you too."
