Hank and Zoey had finally come home, and Lydia could not be more relifed.
"How did everything go?" asked Zoey as she hugged her eldest daughter.
"Alright." Lydia said, remembering the creepy day.
"It was?" Zoey asked, detecting that her daughter was not being completely open.
"Well...we're not dead." Lydia replied.
"Okay, some REALLY creepy things happened today." Lydia rushed through her sentence.
"Like what?"
"First, when I was all alone, I heard someone walking up the basement stairs. Then the basement door opened and I saw the knob turn, but no one was there. Then the door slammed shut."
"What else?" Zoey asked. She had an expression on her face that said,I am getting a lot of usefull info, and this is really interesting.
"Then a few hours later, Breeanan told me she was friends with a ghost. I even heard her talking to the ghost!"
"Your father told me about that, last night." said Zoey.
"I think we should be paying more attention."
