The boys tour kicked off in Maryland, which was on the other side of the country.
Luckily, my doctor approved for me to fly, but I was limited to only one or two flights since I was almost in my 3rd trimester now.
We were traveling by bus for the most part so it didn't really matter anyway. I was thankful that they would be staying at hotels in between some of the dates because I'm not going to lie, the tour bus could get a little claustrophobic with 7 people on it.
Sometimes more because some of Jagmac and Spencer often came over and chilled while we moved to the next tour stop.
The first few shows were amazing, and I couldn't be more proud of the boys and my new friends who were the opening acts. They were truly talented.
We were in Cleveland now, so Michael's whole family was going to be there. I was kind of nervous because this would be my first time seeing all of them together since the time Michael and I visited and told them about the pregnancy. Which was over 3 months ago.
His mom reassured me that she told everyone what was really happening, so no one hated me anymore. Also the shooting and all that went down was all over social media and the news now, since they were searching for 'Johnny'.
Anyway, all of us were on the way to Mike's house to have dinner before the show. Technically it was lunch because we haven't eaten since 8 this morning. And yes they really woke me up that early.
Let's just say that wouldn't be happening again. 😊
"Okay I'm starving," I whine from my spot in between Drew and Michael. We were all crammed into a van, and Sergio was literally in the trunk. I'm pretty sure he's passed out back there... lucky him.
"I told you to eat earlier but you didn't listen," Michael reminds me.
I pretend to not hear him as I engage in a new conversation with Drew. I can feel him watching me though and he grabs my hand in his, so I turn to give him a small smile.
Since the incident, we've gotten closer relationship-wise, but at the same time he was still so distant now. But he was finally starting to relax and we all felt a little safer being in his hometown.
Soon we arrive and we're engulfed in multiple hugs. We haven't seen anyone in so long since it was just the group of us at the hospital and all. We could tell everyone was worried and thankful that we were safe.
Dena kept asking Mia how she was doing, how we were all doing, though we all answered with the same true/false answer. 'I'm fine.'
True for some but just another lie for others...
The group of us all sat around the house, plates piled with food that Dena made for us. There was so much and I tend to eat with my eyes first... so I fixed myself two plates.
Michael raises an eyebrow at me. Drew laughs, "Dang that's almost as much as Sergio usually eats," he jokes.
Sergio looks up from his plate, mouth stuffed with food, "Huh?"
I scrunch my nose up as food goes flying from his mouth and into Mia's cup.
She glares at him, "Dude that's disgusting."
Sergio quickly apologies as Brady offers to get her another drink.
I daze off into my own little world, enjoying the homemade food. Eventually, I'm brought out of my daydream as Michael's sisters start a conversation with me.
They were really sweet this time around, we actually got to talk. Last time there was a lot going on. But they seemed really excited to be having a niece soon.
I haven't seen much of Brendan and Patrick because every time I turn around, they're running around being crazy kids. And no offense, but thank God I'm not having a boy.
"I think you should name her Delilah and have her nickname be Lilah..." Erica speaks up.
I've been thinking about it and I think that would actually be a better suited name, but I didn't want to decide until I actually hold her in my arms. There's not much of a difference anyway, only 2 letters.
Michael shrugs, "Yeah either one is good with me."
Kaitlyn looks at me, "Is she going to have our last name or yours?"
"Kaitlyn," Dena overhears and warns her to not be so nosy, as she makes her way to the main part of the kitchen.
I smile since I didn't mind the question, "Um... well technically it'll be hyphenated, so both."
They nod before changing the subject. Michael grabs my hand again with a smile. I love him.
"Okay we have to go to the venue so..." Chance says for everyone to hear.
We all get in the van, as his family pile into their own vehicle.
This was going to be the best show yet.
(a/n: filler but not really 😉)
