Jungkook hadn't seen Jimin since that night he had broken down right in front of him. He thought it was for the best too, since he knew that he would've been embarrassed upon seeing his friend after the awkward encounter.
Jungkook had also felt a pang of guilt when he had woken up to see Jimin gone- not like he expected him to stay or anything. Although, Jungkook had hoped he would've stayed for a while but came to a realization that he had slept for the rest of the night.
He felt guilty towards Jimin that he had to stay with him while he cried himself to sleep. As soon as he woke up, he felt anxious at the fact that Jimin must've felt uncomfortable with him and that was the reason why he had left.
Jungkook forced himself out of bed as he saw it was already one in the afternoon. He knew he would've had to get up soon although he wouldn't go out. He rose from the bed and walked out of his room, heading towards the living room.
Once he reached the living room area, he paused when he saw a figure sitting on his couch. Just from looking at the back of the person's head, he knew that it wasn't Jimin.
The person turned their head around, looking to Jungkook and then smiled widely. "Finally, you're awake!"
Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed together when he saw another friend of his staring back at him. "Hoseok?"
The older friend smiled up at him while rising up from the couch to walk over to Jungkook. "It's been quite a while! You wanna go out today?"
"Um, I don't think so. I have some plans today," Jungkook replied. Truth was, he didn't have anything planned out that day. He created another excuse just to be alone and he was hoping that Hoseok wouldn't pride him any further.
"Oh, are they important?" Hoseok asked.
"Well, I guess-"
"Cancel them," Hoseok interrupted.
"What?" Jungkook asked, his eyebrows raising in surprise.
"Cancel your plans. We're going out together!" Hoseok smiled before pushing the younger one back towards his room. "Now hurry and go get changed!"
"But..." Jungkook mumbled. He tried to find another excuse to avoid going out; however, it was always hard to do so with Hoseok. "I still haven't brushed my teeth or eaten breakfast."
"Who cares about brushing your teeth? We can get some food on the way out!" Hoseok insisted as he continued pushing Jungkook back to his room.
Jungkook let out a sigh as Hoseok walked over to his closet to choose some clothes for him. Jungkook just stared at his friend who rummaged through his own closet as he stood in the middle of his room.
"Hoseok, where do we even plan to go out? Can't we just stay in?" Jungkook felt like he was desperately asking him at this point. He already felt the anxiety rising from within him.
"I was just planning to cruise around, just like the old times." Hoseok said while throwing some clothes onto Jungkook's bed. "Come on, it'll be fun!"
"I don't know how I feel about that..." Jungkook mumbled under his breath. He wished to just lock himself in his room without any disturbances.
