Beyblade Burst X Reader

Your POV

You run out of your bedroom, throwing your hair up into a ponytail as you leave. Your outfit was a navy blue circle skirt with black leggings under it, a white short-sleeved shirt, and a white pair of converse. You make your way across the hall to your brother's room. After opening the door, you walk inside and sigh, seeing that your brother was still asleep. 

"Valt! Wake up!" You yell loudly. Your older brother(by a year) falls out of his bed and then groans.

"Ugh, Y/n, it's too early. . ." Valt complains groggily. You cross your arms and reply,

"Come on, we're going to Xander's dojo today, remember? We're supposed to meet Xander at the bottom of the hill in half an hour." Valt stands up and stretches before grabbing clothes off the floor to put on himself. You roll your eyes at Valt before walking out of his room to let him get ready. 

You walk downstairs and see Toko and Nika getting ready to leave.

"Hey, where are you two off to?" You ask them. Nika smiles and replies, 

"We're going to hang out with some of our friends at the park!" Toko laughs and adds,

"Yeah! Mom's gonna drop us off after she finishes this batch." You look over at your mom baking bread. After making up your mind, you walk over to her and say, 

"Hey, mom," she looks up at you and you continue, "Valt and I can drop Toko and Nika off at the park so that you don't have to. We'd be happy to. Really." She looks over at you and smiles before replying,

"Thanks, sweetie. It would be a big help." You smile back at your mom and walk back over to the twins.

"Change of plans. Valt and I are going to drop the two of you off at the park on our way, alright?" You ask them. They both nod. A few seconds later, Valt comes running down the stairs. You smile at Valt before both of you and the twins leave and begin the walk to the park. After dropping off the twins with their friends, you and Valt make your way to the bottom of the hill near the dojo.

You look up at the dojo, way above the two of you. While thinking about having to journey up there, you sigh. Then, you hear thunderous laughter from behind you. You turn around to see Xander. He walks over to you and you slightly look down.

"Hey, Y/n," he greets you. You look up quickly to meet his eyes and then return your gaze to the ground.

"Hi, Xander," you reply quietly. He smiles at you and then turns to Valt to talk to him. Sure, Xander is a friend of yours but you feel nervous talking to any of your friends because of how shy you are. After greeting Valt, Xander turns back to you and then looks upwards towards the dojo. 

"Tell you what, Y/n. I'll give you a ride up there, okay?" You nod and give Xander a smile. He grins before picking you up and sitting you on his shoulders. You giggle at Valt, who complains about having to climb the mountain himself. As Xander takes off quickly up the mountain, you stick your tongue out at Valt, who's trailing behind. 

In no time at all, you and Xander had arrived at the top of the mountain and at the entrance of the dojo. Xander sets you down on the ground and looks around.

"I wonder where Yugo and Ukyo are," he says to you. You look up at him and nervously reply,

"Who are Ukyo and Yugo?" Xander looks over at the dojo and then tells you,

"They're two of my teammates on The Sword Flames and students at the dojo." You nod at Xander and then hear someone behind you. You turn around to see a boy with brown hair and a yellow mohawk. He has brown eyes and a bandage under his eye. He's wearing a green sweatsuit with a white shirt under the jacket. 

"Hey, Xander," the boy says. He then turns to you and then back to Xander before asking him, "Who's your friend?" He then fails to whisper to him, "They're really pretty. Are they single?" You look away, embarrassed and uncomfortable by the comment about you. Xander chuckles nervously before saying,

"This is Y/n Aoi. They're Valt's younger sibling." Xander then turns to you and says, "Y/n, this is Yugo Nansui. He's one of my teammates that I was just telling you about." You look over at Yugo and then quietly say,

"It's nice to meet you." Yugo smiles at you and then replies,

"It's nice to meet you too, Y/n." You smile shyly at Yugo. Suddenly, Valt arrives at the dojo, breathing heavily. He sees Yugo and then eagerly asks,

"Yugo, can we have a battle? Please?" Yugo nods and then the two of them head into the dojo to have their battle. Xander turns to you and says,

"I'm gonna go inside and watch their battle. Feel free to come in whenever you want." You nod at him and then watch as he walks inside. You see a bench a little bit away from you so you walk over and sit down on it. A boy about your age walks out from behind a nearby tree, startling you a bit. He has a long, light blue ponytail and blue eyes. His clothes are an indigo hoodie, black sweatpants, and a t-shirt under the hoodie. 

"Hey there," the boy says. You look down at the ground and reply,

"Hi. Are you Xander's other teammate?" He nods and flips his hair before saying, 

"My name's Ukyo Ibuki. And you are...?" You smile slightly at him and reply,

"Y/n Aoi. I'm Valt's younger sibling." He smiles at you and then reaches out to take your hand in his. He plants a kiss on your hand.

"It's very nice to meet you, Y/n," Ukyo tells you. You blush deeply and then reply,

"I-It's nice to meet you too." He smirks and walks over to sit next to you. You look up at him, noticing how handsome he is. These feelings confuse you a lot. You've never felt this way around a guy before. Could this be what love feels like? 

The two of you spend the next few hours talking. Both of you share a lot about each other and you don't even feel shy around him anymore. You feel very comfortable around him and you're sure about your feelings towards him. A break comes up in your conversation and Ukyo says,

"I know that we just met, but I think that I have feelings for you. I really like you, Y/n." You blush and then reply, 

"I really like you too, Ukyo." He smiles at you and then the two of you lean in until your lips meet. After about thirty seconds, you pull away. You smile at him and he says,

"Wow. We really should do that again." You giggle and the two of you lean in to kiss again.
