Maybe this was a dumb idea after all. It's been another four weeks since Camila last saw Y/N. The brunette had secretly hoped that after their little encounter, they would start talking again, but nope.

And here she was, dialing Y/N's number for help. Of course, the Y/E/C-eyed girl won't pick up. Why did she even think-- "Hi?"

"Hi," Camila breathed out into the phone, sounding equally confused and surprised as the other girl.

"So uhm... you just randomly decided to call me?"

"No, I-uh left my keys and wallet at home this morning, so I was wondering if maybe you can drop by and you know, open the door for me...?" Camila told the Y/E/C-eyed girl unsurely. On the second thought, this seems to be a really bad idea. "You know what, never mind. I'll figure something out. You're probably busy right now and... I just shouldn't have bothered. Just--"

"I'll be there in five."

"Oh. Okay."

And the call ended.

Camila would've never called Y/N up if she wasn't her last resort. She just didn't want to bother the Y/E/C-eyed girl or make her feel uncomfortable in any way or whatever else. But without a key and any money with her, there's no way she can open the door by herself or by a professional.

There were two more people who had the keys beside Camila and Y/N, which were Dinah and her mom. Ally and Y/N's family had a spare key too, but Camila didn't necessarily know that. Actually, way too many people had access to their house if you really think about it.

However, Dinah was on a holiday, so she couldn't really come to her rescue at the moment. And her parents... well, when they found out that she's pregnant... which consequently let them to find out about her cheating on Y/N, let just say they weren't that happy to hear the news. She knew for sure that her family wouldn't be helping her in this situation.

She's thought about asking a colleague to borrow some money for her to find someone to open the door, but... yeah... the people in the office found out about her affair for some reason. Nobody would really care enough to pity her right now.

Nobody except for a certain Y/E/C-eyed girl, who was also the last person that should care about Camila.

Y/N kept to her words and arrived in about five minutes. When she stepped out of that elevator, she already saw Camila standing there, leaning against the door to their apartment and just staring at the floor.

That was the first time Y/N really saw Camila's figure and she noticed the small bump that's now formed on her stomach. There was really a tiny human being growing inside her girlfriend's belly. That fact seemed to have dawned on her again, as if she hasn't come to that realization before.

And she also seemed to have forgotten to put into consideration that the baby will be born without a father, or at least without their biological dad, that part's for sure.

Y/N knew that she really shouldn't be feeling bad for Camila because the baby daddy left them as soon as he heard the news, leaving the brunette alone to raise their child and explain to everyone where the baby came from.

Yet here she was, imagining how fucked it had been to tell everyone about it and facing all of this on her own.

She also tried to put herself in Camila's shoes, thinking how she's just hoping she's not hopeless right now. It was obvious that the brunette knew that Y/N needed time and space. And she is willing to keep waiting. But it's just... will time really heal whatever is broken between them?
