Between Summers

    Bella arrives at the hospital scared to death at what's going on. She runs inside and tells the front desk lady "my dad was hit by a car and I was called to see him" she says panting "what is his name" says the front desk lady which according to her name tag is named Amelia, "his name is Eric Menda, please what is his room!" Bella says in a rush. "Room 117" says Amelia looking a bit frightened. Bella practically runs down the hall to room 117 where she sees her dad lying in a bed.  She sits in an armchair beside him and cries softly trying not to wake him. He sees his eyes flutter open and she has a ray of hope in her. His electrocardiogram slows down (beep, beeeeep, beeeeeeeeeeep,) the nurse runs in and checks him and then cover him with a sheet and looks at me sadly she walks out and I start sobbing. I lay there for hours and do nothing but cry, I can't believe he's gone. She eventually falls asleep and wakes up the next morning because she is 18 and she is an adult she just kept living in her house and took care of her brother. Bella was deeply depressed after her best friend moved away and her dad passed. It's been a year and Bella has just turned 19 she got a letter in the mail, a strange looking letter she has been chosen to go to a secret magic school and she should be outside at 3:00 am on climb street. Bella's brother, Logan, was only 6 but he went to stay with our aunt. Bella follows the instructions and goes out to climb street at 3:00 am nothing happened for a couple of seconds but then a black cat shows up, Bella, being a huge cat lover, bent down to pet it but before she could it turned into a women with sleek black hair and a dress that looked like it was from the 1800's. Bella was shocked and almost fell backwards but the witch caught her and told her she has been accepted to this school of witchcraft and wizardry (not Hogwarts by the way) Bella decides she should start taking risks and live after her father died so she said yes and packed up for she would move in one month. She packed everything up and now she just had to wait a week and she would be on a bus to this mysterious school where she meets someone that may make her sadness go away.
