then to the seat next to me.

he immediately sits himself beside me and takes his things out, getting ready for the class.
the feeling of a slight tingle is going up from my toes all the way to my thighs, by his presence. i immediately move a bit further away from him, almost falling off my seat. [a/n we really clumsy yO-]

why am i getting chills?
who is he, to make me feel like this?

"okay class, let's start!"

everyone finally gets their attention away from me, thank god, and back to the teacher.

the classroom's so silent and the only voice that's heard, is the teacher's and the small, gentle chirps from the peaceful birds outside.

summer's slowly approaching us. i miss the burning warmth from the sun and the long days at the beach, while the slight cold breeze would hit my skin. the sound of the calming ocean waves.

the sound of the beautiful nature.

i click my pen a few times, trying to break the silence a bit.
everyone's head is glued to their computer screens, writing every single words down that's being heard.

i turn my head to the left.
and there he is.
calmly sitting with his palm under his chin, soft pink lips pouting and eyes wide open; shining and sparkling in the dimmed sunlight.

his dark brown luminous eyes.
those kinds that you'll get lost in.

what kind of creepy person am i, just staring????

he then slowly turns his head towards me, noticing me staring and gives me a gentle smile.

....does he ACTUALLY read minds?

i suddenly freak out and my attention turns back to the teacher again.
my heart's beating faster.

i'm so weird, oh god.

i hear him slightly chuckle.

welp, now he thinks i'm a creep....

great.

*school bell rings*

i pack my things, getting ready to leave school.

suddenly, my teacher starts speaking....

"wait, class! before you all leave, i wanna say that we are going to start a project next week about this specific topic and you'll be partnering with.... the person sitting next to you."

i stop everything i'm doing.

my eyes wide open, turning my head up to the teacher.
speechless.

so.
i'm gonna be partnering with the new student, that EVERY girl is screaming about....
and best of all.

he thinks i'm a creep.

i repeatedly feel a gently poke on my shoulder. i slightly turn and hyunjin's face is looking down at me.

"so, i guess we'll be partnering?"
he's shyly scratching his neck.

his voice: so calming.

"i guess so," i say, slightly laughing.

i am so AWKWARD omg. y/n get your shit together.

"um, if you wouldn't mind, maybe we could exchange phone numbers? it'll be much easier then to do the project together."
a wide smile appears on his face.

i calm myself and reply "sure, that's a great idea."

i quickly find a piece of paper, rip the top corner off, and begin writing my number down on it.
i hand it to him with a smile, trying my hardest not to blush too much.

ugh Y/N !! remember jiyeon's bet, remember jiyeon's bet....

"i'll text you then. see you tomorrow at school!"
he takes his bag and leaves.
just like that.
leaving me.
speechless.

with a heart beating at full speed.
