“I’m going to miss you,” Lionel murmured kissing his wife softly, he had to go to a charity night and Rosalie wasn’t going with him because she was thirty weeks pregnant and had a lot of work to do before she went on maternity leave for the birth of their second daughter.
“I’ll miss you too,” Rosalie said pulling back from Lionel as she ran her fingers through his hair, she knew that he didn’t want to go but he had commitments that he had to attend to; Barcelona wouldn’t be happy if their star player didn’t turn up for their charity night.
“I don’t want to go,” Lionel said kissing her again, he wanted nothing more than to spend the evening with his wife and children but he knew that he couldn’t; he ran his hands through her hair knowing that she would be okay while he was gone.
“I know but you have to go… besides Andrea is coming round with some work for me,” Rosalie said mentioning her personal assistant, she had her work brought to her since she was working from home until the children were old enough to be at school.
Rosalie kissed his lips before she turned her attention back to her laptop knowing that if she didn’t give him a small push then he would never leave for the charity dinner that his club had organised.
“I’ll be back late,” Lionel said trying to think of ways that he could stay with her for the night instead of going out; however it was pointless and Rosalie would probably send him out anyway because this was part of his job even if he didn’t like it.

“How is Rosalie?” Gerard asked looking at Lionel, he knew that the blonde wouldn’t be coming tonight and he was curious about how she was coping with his busy schedule while she was pregnant and had two children to cope with.
“She’s doing well… only ten weeks left,” Lionel said with a smile as he sipped on his drink, he was avoiding alcohol since he didn’t want to put Rosalie through the mess of having a drunk husband when he went home to her and the children.
Gerard chuckled as he sipped on his drink as he watched his friend before rolling his blue eyes as he spotted a brunette headed towards them; he nudged the argentine knowing why the woman was coming to them, it happened at every event they went to.
“Hola,” the brunette said blushing slightly at the two men as she stopped in front of them, she looked down at her feet nervously wondering what to say next; she had never done anything like this before and she knew that she had to be careful.
“Hola… what can we do for you?” Gerard asked glancing at Lionel, it happened more often than not that someone would come over to them and ask them to sign something or take a photograph with them; this was just part of their job and they were used to it.
“I was wondering if I could have an autograph?” the brunette said softly looking up through her eyelashes at the two footballers; Lionel swallowed as he ignored the unsettled feeling that bubbled in stomach as he watched the woman who smiled as Gerard signed something for her.
Lionel waited his turn before he quickly signed the napkin as well before he sipped on his drink, the brunette beamed as she looked at the two footballers.
“Gracias I’m Maria Alonso,” she said introducing herself to them, Gerard smiled and nodded his head at her while Lionel shifted uncomfortably.
“It’s okay… so Maria what do you do?” Gerard asked starting a conversation with the brunette as she looked at them, her attention mostly focused on Lionel as she smiled sweetly at them.
“I’m in the entertainment business,” Maria said brushing her hair over her shoulder, her brown eyes glittered as she wondered how she would get rid of Gerard so that she could get Lionel alone; he had been her main target when she had come over to speak with them.
Gerard opened his mouth to say something when his mobile started to ring, he furrowed his brow before he realised that it was Shakira and quickly excused himself leaving Lionel alone with Maria.
“So what brings you to this charity night?” Lionel asked glaring at the back of Gerard’s retreating form, he hated being left with fans alone in case they did something that they shouldn’t; he knew how some of them got and didn’t want to deal with that right now.
“I’m actually here with my brother… but he’s busy so I’ve been left to my own devices,” Maria said stepping closer to Lionel, she had one chance of doing this and she had to make sure that she did what she came over to do.
Lionel nodded as he stepped back away from her only for his back to hit the bar that he was stood next to; he swallowed as Maria got even closer to him, he didn’t know where this was going but he didn’t like it.
Before Lionel had a chance to react, Maria pulled him into a kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck making Lionel gag as he realised he was kissing another woman that wasn’t his wife.
Lionel put his hand on her hips and pushed her away, disgusted that she thought that this was okay; he’d been kissed on the cheek by younger fans before but that was completely different.

“How was the charity dinner?” Rosalie asked as Lionel walked into their bedroom after he had returned home, she looked at him knowing instantly that something had upset him; she put down the manuscript that she had been reading before she rested a hand on her stomach.
“Leo?” Rosalie asked concerned sitting up as her husband ran a hand though his hair and sat down on the bed next to her; his brown eyes lowered as he thought about how to tell her about the kiss, he knew better than to keep it from her knowing it would only come back and bit him later on.
“It’s nothing to be worried about but a fan kissed me tonight… on the lips,” Lionel said feeling guilty, he would never hurt Rosalie in anyway and he didn’t want this to hurt her; he had told her to protect her knowing that if someone took a picture then they’d use it against him.
Rosalie stared at Lionel as she tried to wrap her head around what she had heard; the blonde was used to the weird things that fans did to get close to her husband but none of them had ever kissed him on the lips before.
“Rosa… I pushed her straight away,” Lionel said watching her, he worried for her and didn’t want her to think that he was going to cheat on her; he was going to prove her parents wrong one way or another and he wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of being right.
“I know…” Rosalie said rubbing her stomach as she thought about what he had said, she knew that the footballer would never think about cheating on her in anyway but she felt unsettled.
“I’m just worried,” Rosalie said making Lionel nod his head, he didn’t know what it was but he had a feeling that their peaceful life was about to be turned on its head and that things were about to get very difficult for them and their small growing family.
Rosalie doubted that this was going to go away, she had a feeling that it was going to come back and haunt them.
