Chapter 4: How To Tell Her

"Gosh Grace, you surely know how to tease." Come on... Just leave....

"How funny Holt, well I'm leaving, if you want to see Mr. Takashi, hurry up!"

"Did... Did she just said Mr. Takashi?!"

We both jumped, I headed to the bathroom so I could change, but-

"Matt, what am I supposed to do with this?"

"U-uh..."

"Matt, you thought I wouldn't notice?" She said pulling the shirt. "What happened yesterday?"

I sighed. "Fine. Yesterday at the roof, you fell asleep on my shoulder, so when I told you we had to go you were still sleepy, I looked at your watch and saw that Grace was still working so I helped you get to my room. After that, you said you were uncomfortable with your garrison uniform so I gave you those clothes."

"That explains the clothes..."

"After that I prepared the bed and threw a pillow and a blanket to the floor so I could sleep there because my roommate's door was locked. You saw that and wouldn't let me sleep on the floor, so you invited me to sleep on the bed with you, I declined but you insisted. And that's why you said it was warm and comfortable..."

"Oh..."

"Y/n, I am so so-"

"It's ok Matt, thanks for telling me... Now how am I getting clothes...?"

"Oh, I also did the laundry, here" I handed her her clean clothes and signaled the bathroom door.

"Thanks Matt. And by the way... I did knew you slept with me the whole time, I just like to see you nervous." She kissed me on the cheak and left.

I really like y/n, but how can I tell her?

Y/n pov

I closed the bathroom door and chuckled, my face turned hot red and I couldn't stop thinking about it... I really liked Matt... But how can I tell him?

I shoved the comment off and changed, Mr. Takashi was here and it was our chance!

I got out and saw Matt ready.

"Ready?"

"Always,how about you?"

"Never been better."

We went out laughing at our predictions of what could happen, and telling each other that if it's not both the other one doesn't go. His eyes shined beneath those big round glasses, and I could've never been happier.

"y/n...?"

"Yes Matt?"

"Um.. I'm not sure about how to say this... But.."

"yeah?"

"When Mr. Takashi chooses... What if it isn't us?"

"Matt..."

"I mean, I know that can't happen because we're the best literally but."

"Matt."

"You know, like, what if, like, what if he doesn't. Or like."

"MATT!"

"Yeah?..."

I giggled, "You're rambling again"

"I was? I don't even notice anymore" he giggled. "I guess I'm used to it now." he placed his arm behind his neck and made a funny face, I laughed, I really enjoyed being with him. And I hoped that it stayed that way forever.
