"No thanks, I wanna try to win by myself this time." I smile back at him.

"Alright, fine, I'll go plan a prank on Dwight or something." He says, still smiling. He gets up, and walks back to his desk.

I re-open the document, and start writing again.

Happy New Years!
You're invited to my New Years party!

When: Dec. 31. (of course, on Friday)
Time: 7:30pm - ???
Where: 2271 Parkland Dr.
What to bring: Any food / drink you'd like!

You can bring up to 2 guests along with you!

See you there!

I revise it over a few times, and get ready to print it. I set it to print on a neon green card stock paper.

I hear the printer start beeping, and it starts printing.

I walk over to get my papers, and Jim comes up behind me.

"I thought you were playing Solitaire." He whispers into my ear.

I laugh and turn around, meeting him face to face.

"Well I was, but I'm making something." I whisper back.

He smiles, and puts his forehead on mine.

Okay maybe this was a mistake.
He's not doing anything wrong.
He was just being nice with her.

"Get a room!" Dwight shouts.
"Yeah seriously I hate PDA." Oscar says.
"I don't." Kevin says in a deep voice.
"Ew, Kevin! Ew." Angela rolls her eyes.

Jim turns around, and puts his hands in the air, like he's being held at gun point.

Again, Dwight doesn't say anything, and goes back to work.

"Millennials." He mumbles.

"You guys are so cute, gah! I wish I had a girl of my own." Andy says.

I look over at Erin, who looks back at me. She raises her eyebrows.

She knows, she knows.

I get my papers out of the printer, and hold them in the air.

"While I'm up here, and I have your attention, I'm hosting a New Years party!"

"Ooo! I like parties!" Phyllis says.

Micheal rushes out of his office.

"I heard something about a party. I'm invited right?!"

"Yes, Micheal. Here, take one."

"Yes! Alright let's get this party started! Where's my date mike costume?" He runs back to his office, and starts rummaging through his corner cabinet.

"Oh my god that paper is so bright." Angela says.

"I think I'm starting to have a migraine." Meredith says, holding her head.

I hand one Jim, and start passing it out to everyone else.

"Do you have to go?" Stanley asks.

"N-"

"YES! Stanley if you do not go your fired!" Micheal shouts from his office.

"I'd rather be fired." He says, throwing the invitation in his garbage bin.

"Stanley, you don't have to go." I mouth to him.

He just looks at me, and gets back to work.

"Bring any drink you want, there will be karaoke." I say.

"Sweet!" Kevin says.

"I'll see you guys there." I say, sitting back down.

At lunch, Jim and Pam left for Chili's. Micheal and Dwight went out to eat too. I was hopelessly alone with Erin. We ate in the conference room today instead of the break room.

We wanted to have some alone time, but we didn't want to go out to eat.

"Do you think Andy will go to the party?" She asks, poking at her salad.

I know she likes Andy a lot, and they talk all the time. They're one of those people who love to talk, but when it comes to love they're awkward.

"Oh, uhm, yeah! I think he told he was going to make it."

Erin lightens up.

"Good, that's- well, not that it means anything but I think that's cool."

"Are you going to try and ask him out?" I say, taking a sip of my soda.

"I don't know," she takes a bite of her salad. "Isn't the guy supposed to ask the girl?"

"No no! Of course not! Either of you can make a move! It's not written in stone that the guy has to ask the girl."

"Yeah, I guess your right." She smiles.

After that, lunch wasn't very eventful. Pam and Jim came back, while I was already at my desk setting up a check list for my party. He didn't even come over and say hi, he was in a such deep conversation with Pam.

"Don't you remember that? Then some random guy spilled his beer on my white shirt?" Jim asks.

"I do. That was the best night I've ever experienced." Pam says back.

"For you, maybe, but definitely not my shirt." He says jokingly. Pam laughs, and takes a seat at her desk.

After that, I blocked out their conversation. I was getting jealous.

At least I'll admit it.

Dwight and Micheal come in, and Micheal casually strolls up to my desk. He's holding his leftovers, but I can't see what restaurant they're from.

"I need you in my office." He quietly says to me, placing his loud keys on my desk.
"I'm coming." I say back, getting up.
Dwight follows us in there.

"Dwight is apart of this by the way, he's not eavesdropping or anything."

"Yeah but if I wasn't I could care less."

Micheal doesn't say anything, and closes his blinds, while Jim looks back at me, wondering what's going on.

"Have a seat." Micheal says, sitting down.

"So, y/n, me and Dwight have something very important to tell you. It's man-dan-torical."

"He means mandatory." Dwight says to me.

"You're not going to like what you hear. Are you ready?" Micheal says, leaning back in his chair, crossing his arms.

Oh my god I'm getting fired he know I play solitaire throughout the whole day oh my fucking god-

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"Really?"

"Yes, Micheal."

"For sure?"

"Absolutely."

"For sure for sure?"

"Micheal! Go on with it, your losing the point here." Dwight says.

"Sorry. It's just that this news is very important and I want to make sure you're absolutely, 100%, ready-"

"Okay now you're just stalling." I say.

"C'mon Micheal," Dwight says. "you can do it."

"I know Dwight I know. It's just that I don't like to be a person to break bad news."

"You know what? I'll just do it. (Y/n)..."

More soon! ;)
