Sadly, it was a Monday today, but when I arrived at school, there was someone new sitting in the once-empty desk beside mine. I felt my insides turn to mush as butterflies began fluttering around inside my stomach just from looking at him.

He had golden brown hair and these perfect blue eyes that looked so cheerful and vibrant. I happily sat down in my desk and he grinned at me. He has a nice smile, I decided.
