Anne POV Why is everything here so pretty? I thought to myself as me and David walked around his grandpas garden.David seemed to be thinking about something, because I would ask a question like, "how many flowers are in this garden?" And he would say "huh?" and his expression would change as if he just woken up from a trance. Although I knew my parents wanted me back home and would scold me when I got back, I was kind of missing being at home with my parents.
