Later that night I met Jamie at the movie theatre. We had decided to watch a scary movie, I say 'we' but I really mean her. I arrived at the theatre a few minutes early so I just got the tickets and used the rest room. Eventually Jamie came, she waved at me she was wearing this pink tank and white jeans for once she didn't look 11.

"Hi!" She said hugging me.

"I got the tickets so we can go right in", I said.

"Ok, but I might grab some popcorn first if you don't mind", she grinned.

"I don't mind at all", I smiled, we made our way over to the line.

"Sorry I was late", she said apologetically.

"It's fine", I said, smiling to reassure her.

"What would you like?" Asked the server.

"Small plain popcorn, low fat", she ordered. Low fat? Plain? That sounds disgusting.

"We don't have 'low fat'" said the server. Thank the gods.

"Oh, ew forget it", she said rolling her eyes. As we made our way over to the theatre she turned to me. "What kind of movie theatre doesn't have low fat!"

"Your in Brooklyn", I say quiet ignorantly. "Not the upper east side". (I've been watching too much Gossip Girl). She rolled her eyes. I gave the ticket guy our tickets and we went in

"So what's up between you and Ze anyways?" She asked as we took our seats.

"Noting she doesn't like me like that", I sighed I didn't know if that was true.

"She told me that but she lies sometimes", Jamie making a face.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"She didn't tell you?" She laughed.

"No?" I asked confused.

"Maybe she doesn't like you like that", she laughed. I frowned.

The next morning was a Saturday, which was always a relief. On Saturdays I usually woke up one my own because Dad liked to sleep in after a week of work, on Saturdays I worked at the pub down the street for extra money to pay the bills. I started at 8:00pm so I could do whatever until 7:00. I lied at work too, I pretended I was 18, I dressed the same at work too incase someone from school comes by. I got up from bed and made coffees for me and Dad, it was my turn to wake him up on the weekends at 12:00. I showered and got dressed into my pink tank top and black leggings and gave dad his coffee before drying my hair. I heard my phone ringing faintly over the dryer. I turned it off and answered without even checking who it was.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Ze", said a female voice.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"Jamie", replied the voice.

"What do you want?" I sneered.

"I'm not going to tell anyone about the real you if you leave Jordan alone", she said.

"Fine!" I snap. "Nothing was going to happen anyway".

"Good", she laughed. "Just so you know I went out with Jordan last night". I rolled my eyes. "On a date!" She bragged.

"Good for you", I replied.

"We can't be somewhat friends but I have Jordan now so, yeah", she said bubbly.

"I don't need you to be my friend", I threw back.

"Oh k", she laughed. "Bye!" She hung up. I threw my phone on my bed in frustration.
