I ran as fast as I could back home. Tears streaming down my face. When I looked up I saw Natsu and Gray walking down the same trail. "Hey, Zeke!" greeted Gray. I quickly wiped my tears from my face. "Are you okay? Are you crying?" He asked. "No, its just allergies," I mumbled. "Oh," He responded. "Wheres (Y/n) didn't you bring her back to Sabertooth by now. You two a couple yet?" Natsu said nudging me in the arm. After that, I just ran away. I wasn't trying to be rude but I didn't want to cry in front of them. I ran to my door and unlocked my house and slammed the door and started crying into my pillow. I'm pathetic.
Gray pov
When I asked Zeke if he was crying I knew it wasn't allergies. He doesn't have allergies. I knew something went wrong with (y/n). Natsu isn't so great at reading between the lines though. "Why would you say that!" I say punching him. "What do you mean?" He said punching me back. " Why would you ask about (y/n), he obviously was crying." "No, it was just allergies," he said. "We've known Zeke for what? 9 months now almost a year and has he ever mentioned anything about allergies?" "Well no, but.." "You're so dumb," I say while we're fighting.
Fighting Natsu isn't going to change anything. "Natsu stop we need to stop fighting. We need to go to Zeke." Natsu reluctantly stopped and we both walked over to his house. Natsu knocked and he didn't answer. Then he knocked again. "Zeke we're coming in," I say while opening the door. I looked around to see hes bedroom door closed. I opened it and saw Zeke lying with his face on the pillow.
"Please go," he mumbled. "I really think to talk to someone would make feel better." "What's the point. I leave for 2 hours and another guy steals her." "Who, someone from Sabertooth?" Natsu asked. "Yeah, this dumb kid named Tarek who had just joined." At least he's talking now. "What happened exactly?" "Well this new guy named Tarek had just joined Sabertooth, I went and talked to him but I didn't personally like him that much." The jealousy Zeke had was so obvious. "So I left then I came back and they were talking. I could, of course, hear his dumb jokes and she laughed at all of them, even though they weren't even slightly funny. Ahhh that stupid voice." He began to make the ceiling look like it was going to rain stones. "Zeke clam down!" I say.
"Sorry, I just am so annoyed right now!" "Take a deep breath." Zeke took an over exaggerated breath. "When we were walking I told her I had something I had to tell her and she said she did too. I told her to go first and she said..." His voice trailed off and tears began to fill his eyes again. "Then..she said she thought she liked Tarek and that there hanging out tomorrow. Which is basically a date! After that, I just left there was no point in staying."
"I'm sorry this happened to you, Zeke, If you want you can stay with me." I offered "NOO! ONLY JUVIA CAN STAY WITH GRAY-SAMA!" Juvia screamed. "How did she get here??" Natsu questioned. "Don't worry Juvia, I have to stay with Natsu." "Why Natsu?" I ask "Because I said I had to help Natsu with something before I left." "Well...then I guess...Natsu could..stay with us too." "No, I'm not staying with stripper over here." I was about to say something else but I stopped myself. "Natsu just do it for Zeke's sake." Zeke looked over at Natsu, "Fine!" He said reluctantly.
We started walking toward my house and I pulled Natsu behind. "Look, we need to put our differences aside for one day for Zeke's sake." We shook hands and Natsu made a bunch of jokes to lighten the mood. I think Zeke was starting to feel better.
*The next morning*
(Y/n) pov
I woke up super early to get ready. I had told Lucy and she at first thought it was Zeke. I woke up Lucy excitedly. "I don't know what to wear." "Well it's not an official date so I suggest dressing casually but cute. Here let me pick a few different outfits." Lucy dug through my closet and pulled out three different outfits.

I really thought it would be Zeke, but I guess something must have happened. It's too bad I really thought they would be great together. Mirajane really shipped those too and to be honest I think everyone did.
(Y/n) pov
I met Tarek in the park and he handed me a bunch of flowers. "Thank you I love flowers." "You look really cute." "Thanks," I say blushing. We walked around the park. Tarek was so caring and nice, also he was funny too. Eventually, my feet started to hurt from my shoes. "You want to sit down?" I ask. "Yeah sure." I sat down and on the bench and swung my legs back and forth because my feet didn't touch the ground.
It was weird the air smelled like Zeke I must be smelling things, Then Tarek grabbed my hand they intertwined. I was holding hands with him! "You know you're really pretty (y/n), your one of the most special girls I've ever meet even though I've known you for a short time. You're (e/c) eyes are so beautiful and unique." I was blushing so much at this point. "Thank you, I think the same about you." I was not nearly as good as Tarek on giving compliments. Then he leaned in closer to me... Is he going to kiss me?! Isn't this moving way too fast?!
Zeke pov
I woke up and I kind of forgot where I was for a second. "You're finally up!" said Natsu. "Yeah, I'm suprised your up so early." I said, "It's 10:30." "10:30!" "Yeah, we were going to go to the guild if you want to come." "Yeah I'm going to go for a walk, I'll meet you guys there." "Okay." "By the way thank you guys so much I feel better now." "Yeah of course," Natsu said with a smile.
When I went out for a walk I wondered around town and then I decided to go to the local park. It was really peaceful and pretty out. Then the air suddenly smelt like (y/n). Ugh why. She's not here she probably out with Tarek by now. Then I saw them on the bench and Tarek leaning in towards (y/n)...
