[The story takes place after the invasion, and Leo is put into a 3-month coma, in the TMNT 2012 TV (season 3). The story will not go down...
He was just regurgitated out of an alien-like creature that was pretending to be Mrs. O'Neil and Y/n. It was then that he realized in horror. A sinking feeling in his stomach appeared.
Why was the world so cruel to give her to him only to take her away from him every chance it had. The moment he grew comfortable, was a moment in which the whole world would crumble on him. Every opportunity, every danger, every possible struggle, always struck him, and always went after her.
Because the world was cruel. But why?
If anything happened to her, he didn't know if he would be able to come back from it. Because the truth was, she was the center of his universe. She was the only one who could help him 'keep it together'
"Are you guys okay?" April asked.
'Not until she is back in my arms' , Leo replied in his head.
"Let me put it to you this way. I'm pretty sure I swallowed about 15 pounds of slime." Donnie complained
"I feel like if puke could puke, it would be us," Mikey said before actually gagging.
He placed a hand on his back to help the process for his little brother before thanking April and asking an important question.
He needed to know that she was safe. That she was okay. That the world pitied him enough to spare her.
He begged the world at that moment that she would be spared.
That the world thought it took enough from him, his father, his pride, his ability, the skills he had trained his entire life for, peace of mind, freedom, and his childhood.
But not her, he begged, not her.
"Thanks, April... But where is the real Y/n?"
This caused everyone else to panic. Where was She???
Everyone's uncertainty only made Leo's heart drop even further.
But he kept repeating in his head, not her, not her, not her, please not her.
However, fortunately, and unfortunately, Donnie had an idea....

"So when I downloaded the data from the Kraang ship, I discovered the creature wasn't really April's mom. It just had her memories." Donnie explained
"So what was it? Some sort of early infiltration experiment that utilized a combination of Mrs. O'Neil's DNA and Kraang DNA, but it was too dangerous." Leo guessed.
"So the Kraang put it in a deep freeze?" Raph asked
"Yep, and as I was looking, it turns out that the ship also received messages from the Kraang 'headquarters'. All the information was inputted into the creature. Here it shows a ransom not for not only April but for Y/n as well. Fortunately, the ransom for the rest of us wasn't able to download into the creature because we showed up. That's why she didn't know who we were but went after April along with Y/n." Donnie explained.
April looked like she was nauseous and incredibly uncomfortable, Leo felt bad for her. He really didn't want to talk about this stuff in front of her but they had to figure out where Y/n was, but she also was concerned.
"Alright Donnie, so where is Y/n then?" she asked.
"Well if I am right, and I usually am, it seemed that they wanted to hold Y/n captive because of her relationship with Leo and the rest of us. Which is unfortunate because it means the Kraang has information to use against us. Anyway, they wanted to put her in a cell or cage because she would have no other use other than a prisoner and bait, unlike April who they needed to 'perfect the mutagen'. So... I'm pretty sure the fake 'Mrs. O'Neil' put her in the freezing chamber when she saw how easily Y/n could escape from a cage. You know with all the training Y/n does.
Leo felt chills, as he walked to the tube, and tried to see through the window...
Sure enough, there was someone inside.
"Open it up, Donnie."

It's been a while.... I know that you guys are probably tired of hearing about how busy I am and everything, but I truly do appreciate your patience and your support. I hope you guys enjoyed, and are having a much better summer than I am. Once again thank you so much for your patience, and please continue commenting on this story, I love seeing your guy's train of thought when reading. Also sorry for writing a very depressing, and almost desperate chapter, but I thought it was necessary to show that while Y/n depends on Leo, Leo also depends on her too, and to truly go into the head of the "fearless" leader, who is truly terrified. Hopefully, it will be a happier chapter next update, but no promises.
