Not Just a Game

They finished up eating. Did their chores and sat at the porch of their house.
 
"Hey by the way what game did you play?". Rowen asked jessie.
Since I didnt got to notice his game.

"It was DOTA". Jessie replied
"DOTA?".
Rowen replied. "That's an odd name for a game."
"Yeah DOTA. It stands for Defense Of The Ancients". Jessie replied while lighting a cigarrete.

"Cool. Can we play it together like fighting games?". Rowen said with excitement and amazement is his voice.

"Yeah we can. Dont bother playing it tho. You cant even complete a single mission in GTA." Jessie laughed.

"Yeah right! I bet you that I can beat you at it!" Rowen a little bit annoyed.

"Oohhhh!! The little man is angry now." Jessie teasing rowen.

"Oh yeah, We'll see tommorrow." Rowen replied eager to play.
Jessie walked away headed for his room. Threw his cigarette to ground.

"Oh by the way. Ask your mom for some change renting a PC is a bit expensive." Jessie told rowen.

"Yeah sure". Rowen replied so eager to play again.

The next day. "Hey rowen hurry up, Enough with the make up" Jessie jokingly said. While patiently waiting outside for rowen to get ready.

"Yeah, yeah im here! Let's go!!" Rowen a bit annoid by the teasing. But a lot is going through his mind curiousity is just swelling out of his head. He knew he was hooked to PC game the moment he started playing.

Rowen and Jessie went to the gaming cafe to play again. To our surprise the entire place was packed like packed bystanders and watchers were inside. It was full to the end of the cafe.

Then out of nowhere! A guy shouted.
" GO MID!! GO MID!! NOW!! ". A guy playing aggresively shouted.

" Okay relax man im going!! ". Another replied.

" You fu**ing pussies you can't play this game!!! GO HOME!! ". A player shouted at the player right accross his table " Man a 3 year old could play better than you guys! ". He added.

The entire place roared with excitement once he uttered that phrase.

I wasn't expecting anything like this. You could sense the competetiveness in the air, tensions were high you could cut it with a knife, the air was dry and thin, you just feel it by being their.

And out of nowhere!
" ITS OVEEER!!! ITS FU**ING OVEERRR!!!! THEY FU**ING WOON!!! WOOOOOHHH!!! ". Rj roard at the top of his lungs!.

The entire place buzzed! Shouted like it was the end of a war!! My cousin was right outside listening to the game! With an intense look and the biggest sigh of relief i ever saw when he heard Rj uttered the words! "They Won! They did it!!".

People came pouring out after that. The entire place was still buzzing.
I had no clue what just happened and what in the hell they were all talking about so me and Jessie stepped in the cafe. When we went in their were hugs and handshakes everywhere, even from the guys who were hostile to each other while in game. Laughs and jokes were everywhere and the heavy and hostile environment just turned into this friendly and cool environment. I who just witnessed everything was utterly confused about what is really going on.

Jessie stepped inside, Gave somebody a high five and said "Hey Bboy! Congrats! On the win!".

"Yow if it isnt Jessie thanks man!". Bboy replied.

"That was one hell of a game! A classic that's for sure!." Jessie still amazed at what he saw.

"We almost lost that one! Good thing Ipoy saved us at the clutch! The man is a monster you should have seen it!" Bboy with a shakyness to his voice still the adrenallin pumping in his blood you could sense it.
"Hey who's the little guy?". Bboy added.
