Eros, Philos, and Agape (To Help You Understand True Love)

Roy's eyes were closed, but he can feel there was someone nearby. The room was a pitch black,  so dark that he can't even tell if his eyes were opened or closed. He didn't know where he is, but the atmosphere he's in is agonizing. The thick darkness blinded him, unaware of where he is, or what he is doing.

Roy tried to move his arm, but he can't see his own arm is moving. He tried to walk but is he even walking? It's driving him crazy! He began to wonder... Is he even alive?

"This is the tough kid you were talking about?  Anna's child?" A man's voice emitted from the darkness.

"Yup.  This is the one. " A different voice replied.

"He's skinnier than I thought... " The mysterious voice mocked him, "Well, let's take him down!"

Roy felt that the two men were carrying him, taking him somewhere, but he couldn't resist. He couldn't move a muscle nor speak a single word. Unsure of his own existence, he knew now that he's probably dead.

"Where are you taking me? Let me go! " Roy shouted in his mind.

"Stop resisting, boy!" The man replied as though as he could hear Roy's mind, "This is the one fight you can't win. Your time is up!"

"My time is up? What do you mean by that? "

But the two men didn't respond. Instead, they both laughed in a very horrifying way.

"Answer me you bastards! " Roy cried out. He struggled to break free but it's useless. He still heard them but he didn't know if he had ears anymore. He knew he said something, just didn't know how.

"Tell me kiddo! Do you know who you are?" The mysterious voice said.

"Me? I... I don't know..." Roy answered 

"Then tell me, what are you? Or say if you know where you are now?

"... I don't know what am I... Where am I... or where I'm going... I am nobody..."

"You are worst than a nobody! You are nothing! And no one loves a nothing!"

Is this what death feels like? Despair... Uncertainty...  The absence of feeling

...Unloved?

Suddenly...

A flicker of light appeared.

"Roy..." A woman's voice echoed from the light.

"Do you still remember your mother's name? "

"My mother?...  Yes..." Roy replied as the light begin to shine brighter, "... Her name is... Anna... "

"Good... Do you love her? "

"Of course I love her...  I won't let anything happened to her. "

"You're a good boy, Roy...  And she loves you too...  She misses you... Therefore, you must come back to her!"

"Go, Roy! Come back to her! "
