Ponyboy: *blinks, then clears throat* "Sorry honey...daddy's gotta go...run some errands. Yep. B-bye sweetheart!"

Sodapop: "A mom and a dad bump bellies and then the moms belly grows a baby."

Darry: *smiles* "God makes every baby up in heaven. Every little part; he makes it perfect. Then when two people are really in love, he gives them a baby, because if they can love each other that much, then they can love a baby, and God knows they will keep it safe."

Steve: "Well...when a boy and girl kiss, some of the boy's spit gets in the girls mouth, and when she swallows it, a baby is formed in her belly from the spit...."
(A/N this is where i thought babies came from when i was little)

Johnny: "That's a question you'll learn about when you're a big kid, sweetheart. You don't need to be worrying about babies yet. You're just about a baby yourself. *laughs* No, I'm just kidding. I know you're a big girl. Not quite big enough yet. You'll learn in time."

Dally: "Well when a mommy and a daddy are in love, the daddy will take off his-" Dallas Winston! "um....a big bird called a stork will drop off the baby on the mommy and daddy's doorstep in a big basket. The end."

Two-Bit: *eyes widen* "Um...I think that's a question for mommy, yeah?"
