"no, you are not leaving," christina said, as she tried to stop audrey from grabbing the clothes that she had left out of her suitcase.

"audrey, stop!" tate said, wrestling the girl's arms to her side, and giving her a hug. "hey, calm down, love, it's gonna be okay."

that's when audrey broke.

everyone walked out to daniel's living room, letting audrey sit in the middle of the sofa and crowding around her.

"why don't you guys hate me like he does?" she whimpered, grabbing a kleenex and wiping her tears. she let out another cry, and christina hugged her from the side.

"because, we know it's not your fault, we were with you the whole day," kay said.

"and he literally threatened me in the hospital, and i know you couldn't be with him after that," gabbie added, making audrey gasp.

"he did what?" audrey asked in disbelief. "that son of a bitch threatened you?"

"do you not know about this?" jack said. he had just came over to pick up gabbie, but stayed after what had just happened. "i called daniel and he said he would tell you."

"no, he didn't, but i don't know why he wouldn't tell me," audrey said, shaking her head. "i just, i don't know what to do."

"just let him cool off, he'll be back soon," jonah said, looking at his phone. "he's at the beach right now, i'm tracking his phone."

"he always goes to the beach when he's angry, so give him some time," corbyn said. "we just have to wait."

"okay, rachie's telling me lav's crying so we're gonna go, okay? we'll see you later," gabbie said, her and jack getting up.

"you guys can all go back home if you want," audrey sniffled. "i kinda want to be alone right now."

christina had a slightly hurt expression on her face, but recovered and nodded, giving audrey a small smile. "text me, okay?"

audrey nodded, grabbing another tissue to wipe her tears. "thanks, tina."

"i love you, babe," tate said, giving her a hug before walking out.

"you both are gonna be okay, i promise," kay said lastly as everyone left.

audrey sat there for a moment.

until you figure your shit out, i don't want you here.

she got up, placing the last of her clothes in her suitcase and rolling it out by the front door.

pulling her phone out, she ordered an uber and waited, just standing by the door as she waited for the car to get there.

she sent a few texts before she left.

he knew it, and he knew he was going to regret not have listening to audrey. he was going to regret shouting at her. he was going to regret just walking out.

he had arrived at the beach, and just sat in the sand, letting the warm ocean water and breeze surround him.

jonah was texting him, asking him to come back, but daniel muted all his notifications, and tossed his phone a few feet away from him.

a few fans came up to him, and he mustered enough energy to smile and hug them, but they must've seen how tired and moody he was, because they left quickly.

daniel laid on the sand, the tips of his left fingers touching his phone. he closed his eyes, but all he could see was audrey.

her eyes, the ways the corners of them crinkled when she laughed really hard.

her nose, the one daniel would always tap the tip of when he walked past her.

her cheeks, which always turned a dusty pink when he teased her.

her lips, that were almost always in a smile because all she wanted was to make everyone happy.

why couldn't i make her happy?

he sat up with a groan, finally giving up and grabbing his phone to see the texts he had ignored.

but one caught his eye.
