~Peter and Michelle~

Michelle sat at her dining table, eating some cereal and reading a news article she had found online earlier that morning. "What are you reading, sweetie?" Her mum asked. Michelle looked up to see her mum making some tea. She had stayed home that day because she had woken up really sick and Michelle suggested she made some tea to help her feel better. "Apparently there was an fight at a library last night." Jake walked into the room with his hair a mess and wearing only one sock. "Really? What happened?"

Michelle shrugged, "Apparently Spider-Man caught some guys doing like, a drug deal or something, and he tried to stop them but the guys had guns." Jake's head perked up at the mention of Spider-Man. "What happened?" Michelle rolled her eyes at Jakes unwavering admiration of the superhero. "He stopped them but some woman got shot. Hey, it seems like someone posted a video of the attack." She tapped on the video and heard Jake and her mum move to stand behind her so they could watch. The first thing she noticed in the video was how most peoples faces had been blurred.

The video seemed to be taken from someone standing near the entrance of the building. She spotted Spider-Man on the ceiling and soon a bunch of guys came into frame holding guns, their faces were blurred as well. Spider-Man said something that the camera didn't quite pick up, and next thing she knew guns were firing and the ceiling looked like it was about to cave in. Spider-Man jumped down and started to dodge bullets and punches. Michelle noticed how swiftly and gracefully he was moving, almost as if he knew where the attack would be before it happened.

One of the guys said something and moved to punch Spider-Man again, but his move was dodged and weapon was pulled away. This time when Spider-Man spoke it was loud enough that the camera picked it up, "Hey man, there are still people getting out of here!" He yelled. Huh, weird. I forgot how familiar his voice sounds. I swear I've heard it somewhere. What he had said was true, just in the corner of the video a bunch of people could be seen running down stairs and trying to escape while Spider-Man tried to get the guns of the other guys.

Suddenly there was a scream, and a woman collapsed on the floor. Spider-Man had turned to see, and when he looked back while screaming at the attackers in anger, he got punched on the side of his head. Jake gasped and Michelle felt a breath rush into her lungs. Surprisingly he didn't fall down, but clearly he was hurt from the punch. All of a sudden everything went crazy, the person holding the camera was shaking and there were limbs and kicks and fists flying everywhere towards the red and blue man. Suddenly Spider-Man shouted something and shot something at the group of guys who all of a sudden flew back against the wall.

He exclaimed in victory before he ran over to the woman, and after a moment picked her up and left, after which the video ended. "Oh my goodness," their mum said, the first words spoken after the video started. "That was nuts," Michelle said. Jake looked like he was about to explode, "DID YOU SEE THAT?! That was so cool! He beat them so easily! And did you see that like, web-grenade thing he did? That was awesome!!"

Michelle nodded. "I hope that woman is okay," their mum said. Michelle scrolled back up to the article and looked for something she had seen earlier. "Ah, here. It says that she was able to get to hospital really fast and that she is in a stable condition and recovering smoothly." Jake exclaimed in amazement, "He is seriously the coolest person on Earth." Michelle rolled her eyes again while finishing her cereal. "Yeah, yeah. Go get your clothes on, we're leaving in a few minutes."

Their mum dropped them both off at school, first Jake and then Michelle, and the first thing Michelle noticed when she walked into school was that everyone was talking about what had happened at the library the night before. Some people were claiming to have been their and a few others said that they had filmed the video. Probably all bullshit. She walked to her locker and grabbed out the books she would need that day.
