It's been twenty three days, twenty three days since the universal genocide.

Tony Stark listened to Magaline's advice, "use this for emergencies". He had a few hours left before he is deprived of all the oxygen on the ship. His body weak and malnutritioned. Tony said his goodbyes to his helmet, attempting to send a message to Pepper Potts, his wife.

He used pulled out the pager Magaline five to him. Eyeing it before pressing the button for his last chance of surviving.

The pager beeped a symbol, an unknown symbol.

Tony sat on the captain's chair, ready to go with his last breathe.

A bright light came upon the front shield of the ship, Tony struggled to open his eyes, squinting to see who it was, he could barely make out the figure.

His eyes adjusted to the light, he saw a woman in a similar suit to Magaline's. She floated their for a few seconds before grabbing onto the ship and flying them to safety.

Flying onto the avengers compound, Carol carried the entire ship. The remaining avengers ran to the field where the ship settled.

The team stared in wonder as they watched the ship doors open. Tony walking out with Nebula's support. Limping slowly as he walked. The team ran up, Steve Rodgers stood at the front taking Tony out of Nebula's arms.

"I couldn't save him" Tony whimpered, "neither could I" the super soldier replied.

"I lost the kid"

"Tony, we lost"

Tony then stammered for his wife who ran up in tears hugging him tight.

Tony giving into the embrace, the two in pure shock and joy.

"Where's Magaline?" Carol spoke up from over the crowd.

"She didn't make it" Nebula deadpanned while sitting with Rocket. Carol stared at the ship in pure shock while a tear rolled down her cheek.

Tony wobbled his way to Carol with the help do Pepper, pulling out a pager he thanked, "If it wasn't for that girl, I've wouldn't be dead. Thank you" handing the pager to Carol before they head towards the compound.

The sun shone brightly across a field of daisies. Magaline laid on top of the flowers, the light shown upon her olive skin, glistening.
