Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D randomness

May has been through so much. Her "children" have all been hurt or killed. The girl from Bahrain, though, not for long, but May felt responsible for her well being. She killed the girl's mother, and May believed the duty of mother fell to her. And then she had to kill the girl. Simmons, Fitz, and Daisy are like the kids of Phil and May. Fitz and Simmons were thrown off a plane into the ocean, causing damage to Fitz, Simmons was sucked into a rock and onto another planet, Fitz was placed in the Framework as an Evil Hydra Doctor, blames himself for what happened there, everyone except Fitz were sucked through another rock into the future, and Simmons was forced into being a slave to a Kree. Daisy had an evil boyfriend, got another one, and then that one died. This caused Daisy to go AWOL for a while. And then there is Robin. Robin is the only one out of these "kids" to actually call May mom. And then, May is sucked into the future, and Robin is left alone. And when they are reunited, Robin is killed by the person they thought they could trust.

May's love life is also saddening. Her fling ends up being a Hydra Agent, and drops two of her "children" into the ocean. Her ex-husband turns out to be the monster that is killing Inhumans. And when he does good and goes after Hive (who is in the body of the ex-hydra agent), he is killed by Mr. Flame Setter while trying to save May's other "child". And her most current fling was killed by an Alien, given false memories, went a bit crazy trying to find an alien city, lost a hand, killed her old fling, put into the Framework as a teacher teaching kids about how great Hydra is, put into the future, and then brought back into the present, where they THEN decide to admit they love each other.
