SCHOOL WAS OVER for the day, which made me very relieved to say the least. I collected my belongings, placing them in my bag. Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I walked out of the classroom. I reached into the side pocket of my bag, grabbing my phone. I scrolled through my messages, clicking on the most recent message from Jieun.

jieun: We'll be at the front of the school

I put my phone back in my bag, turning down the hallway. Inching closer to the school's exit, I was able to see Jieun and the others standing by the doors. I called out to them, causing their heads to turn in my direction.

A tall boy with tricorn black hair walked over to me, his plump lips pulled into a smile as he ruffled my hair, "Finally, we were waiting on you."

Kim Seokjin was his name. I met him through Taehyung. He was one of the two seniors in our friend group, serving as an older brother figure for us. He was very comforting, an ideal person to vent and look up to. Taehyung met him at the beginning of freshman year and later introduced me to him.

Jimin stood beside him and spoke up, hands stuffed into his front pockets, "Now that you're here, we're just waiting on Taehyung."

I nodded as I felt someone grab my arm, pulling me back. I yelped before turning around, facing Jieun alongside another boy. He was taller than her, his meadowlark brown hair complimenting his chocolate doe eyes. His small, pink lips were curled into a small smile.

Jieun let go of my arm, her eyebrow raised, "So have you talked to him?"

"Who?"

"Taehyung!" She quietly cried out, as if the answer to that question was obvious.

My eyes grew wide, cheeks flushed in a crimson hue, "No, I haven't had a chance to."

"You've been saying that for months now," Jieun frowned as she slapped my shoulder.

I rubbed my shoulder, wincing at how hard she slapped me, "I know. It's just - I just don't know how to. I really wanna tell him but it's just hard."

The boy beside her spoke up, flashing me a reassuring smile, "I know you're scared but you're gonna have to tell him. In the moment, it may seem hard but once you do it, you'll feel a lot better."

I thought about his words before allowing a warm smile to appear on my face, "Thanks Jungkook."

I've been wanting to tell Taehyung how I've felt for a while now. At first, I thought that my feelings for him were only temporary. But over time, they started to grow and I can't get them out of my head. I haven't told many people how I feel about him. The only people who know are Jieun and Jungkook, my two closest friends aside from Taehyung.
