aloha, friends.
in the last update, which was sometime ago, i informed you lovely reader people that i wasn't going to continue the novel. i asked if y'all wanted me to tell you the ending, and i got a resounding yes. i posted a brief synopsis of how i had been planning to finish the book. i had stopped writing at twelve, so it would have otherwise been around twenty-four chapters.
recently, and by that i mean last night, i reread all of this fic, and i decided that i missed it. i've been doubting my writing a lot lately, and all the positive comments really helped reassure me that i'm not terrible. i actually enjoyed rereading this, which surprised me because i hardly ever enjoy rereading my own writing. i write it and then jump ship, never looking back. this was different, tho.
so. i think i might try to finish it. maybe. hopefully?
i know that i have already uploaded the ending, but new people are reading every day. which is cool! and exciting! i love logging in and seeing all the fresh comments and votes! it's like a wave of love just washes over me every time!
so! if i do continue writing, i will take down the synopsis posted in the last note once i publish the next chapter, but i will leave the note up. if i don't continue writing, the synopsis will stay.
i guess this is me leaving the door open to possibilities, and letting you guys know that there even is a door in the first place. yeah. metaphors.
