Kuroo X Reader

Knock knock!'

"Um come in!" You said. The door opened to a familiar short blonde and a black haired bedheaded, tall freak of nature. You smiled wanting to cry of joy, "it's about time!" You smiled.

"Morning sleeping beauty!"

Kuroo walked over to you and hugged you trying not to squeeze to much in fear of hurting you. "Are you ok..?" He whispered to you. You smiled, "I'm perfectly fine! Better now that you're here." Kuroo sat down in the chair he was previously in. "Its nice to see the both of you but practice started not to long ago! Shouldnt you be there?!" You questioned. "Well this idiot couldnt wait to see you." Kenma said "it's just nice to see your ok"

You smiled, "so who else know I'm here?" You questioned. "Only Dottie and now Kenma, he kinda figured it out on his own." Kuroo said. Kenma walked up to you and put a bag on the bed, "here we got you something..." Kenma said pulling out a bracelet. "Kuroo picked it out" Kenma said handing it to you, you grabbed it and smiled "it's my zodiac!"

You opened it out of the packaging and slid it on, "I love it!" You smiled "thank you!"

Kuroo blushed and so did Kenma, "yeah your welcome!" Kuroo smiled. "So when are you gonna be out of here?" Kenma asked. "I'll hopefully be out tomorrow and dont worry I'll still be able to go to the practice matches against Karasuno!" You smiled. "I honestly cant wait to meet the team!!"

Kuroo sighed, "yeah their something alright..." He joked. "Shoyo said he had something for me when we get there. I'm honestly scared..." Kenma shivered. Kuroo laughed "I'm sure its gonna be fine!!" You sat there smiling listening to them talk about the team.

The rest of the day you guys talked and you played some games on Kenmas DS. It was getting quite late and they needed to get home, "we are gonna have to leave here soon fellas" Mrs. Kuroo said. The three of you looked at her, "ah alright..." you said.

"Here..." Kenma said handing you his DS. "So you dont get bored when we leave..." you smiled and grabbed it and then gave him a hug "thank you!" He blushed and then quickly looked away from you. You looked over at Kuroo who had worried eyes, "I'm gonna be fine, I promise!" You smiled at him. He didnt say anything, "we'll give you both some time alone!" Kuroos mother said nudging Kenma out the room.

Kuroo looked down he couldnt look you in the eyes, "Kuroo?" You questioned; no answer. "Kuroo? Hey what is it?" You asked. "(F/N) I- well...." he was trying to find some way to say it but he couldnt. "Yes?" You urged on, "I'm sorry..." was all he could say. That isnt what he wanted to say, he wanted to tell you about Dottie but he couldnt didn the right words.

"Dont be! It's not your fault!" You smiled trying to make him smile back. Thankfully it worked slightly and he smirked, "yeah...I know..." he said. "Ok no more sad stuff!! Go home and get some actual sleep!!" You said. He smiled and picked up his bag and threw it over his shoulder, "alright, well I guess I'll be heading off!" Kuroo said patting Atticus on the head. "Alright I'll see ya tomorrow!" You smiled.

Kuroo walked to the door and then stopped at it, he pointed at you "now dont go anywhere!~" he joked. You stuck your tongue out at him, "yeah yeah whatever, now go! Dont keep your mom waiting!!" You laughed. He smiled and the jokingly blew a kiss at you, "love ya! Bye"

As Kuroo walked out of the Hospital he wanted to face palm himself, 'I'm such an idiot! Why didnt I tell her about what happened between me and Dottie?! Its not that hard?! Is it??!' Kuroo thought. "If you keep making that face while your thinking people are gonna think your insane." His mother spoke not even looking at him and thankfully the road. Kuroo sighed, "yeah yeah, thanks for that"

Kuroo dropped Kenma off at his house and then they made their way home. "So kiddo wanna tell me what's on your mind?" Kuroos mother asked. Kuroo jerked his head in surprise to her sentence, "huh? What? Oh it's nothing just...something I need to tell (F/N).." he said. Kuroos mom glared at him, "dont tell me your gonna break up?" She asked. "NO! No it's not that, just...something dumb happened" he muttered the last part. "Its just hard for me to say it and I dont know why..."

Kuroos mom smiled, "Honey everyone does dumb things and it's hard to own up to it, but I'm sure whatever it is (F/N) will forgive you!" She said. Soon they pulled up into the drive way and Kuroo walked up to his room and flopped on his bed. He thought about what his mother said, "everyone does dumb things, huh?" Kuroo rolled onto his back and flung his arm over his face. "I know it took me by surprise....why do I feel such guilt...?"

You sat in the Hospital bed for the entire day, luckily half of the day you had some company but when they left you were stuck in your thoughts. Kenmas DS died while you were playing on it now you were petting Atticus and just talking to him. "Ugghh I'm so boorreeedd!!" You groaned. "I cant wait to get out of here..."
