The deadly truth

Scarlett woke up and she was feeling dizzy. When she adjusted her eyes she saw her friends,Gabe and Laurel ties together on the other side of the room.
"No!" Scarlett shrieked! She tried getting up but realised she was tied down as well.
Laurel was crying and Gabe was full of fright. Scarlett felt guilty for bringing them down here,they would die down here,she thought.
The door slammed open,her mother appeared.
Scarlett couldn't believe what was happening,she had thought of everything so perfectly. She would call the cops on her mother,but why should she?
Her mother was the one,who gave her birth,she as the one trying to protect Scarlett by making her join her cult. Scarlett finally decided what to do...
"Mom?" Scarlett said,her mother was staring at her,and now she snapped out of her thoughts and focused on all of them.
"Yes sweetie? Any last wishes?" Her mothers asked in a shrill voice.
"I have decided..." Scarlett croaked out. At this Laurel and Gabe looked up and glared at Scarlett in confusion.
Her mother's face of pure cruelty was replaced with a frown and squinted face.
"What?" Her mother demanded. Scarlett took a deep breath and plucked up the courage to talk.
"I wanna help you out with your "chores",I have finally realised that you're the only one who has even loved me and that you always have wanted the best for me." Scarlett slowly talked.
Laurel and Gabe started shaking their heads violently,their eyes popping out of their heads and filling with tears.
"I knew you would come to your senses! Her mother yelled,and laughed in a high pitches voice.
An evil grin grew on Scarletts face. She was proud of her decision and happed to finally decide for herself.
Her mother leaned down and untied Scarlett. She helped her stand up and gave Scarlett a squeezed tight hug. The smell of alcohol and smoke filled Scarletts lungs.
     Her mother let go and smiled proudly and spitefully.
"Well then here's your first chore..." At this her mother laughed and so did Scarlett.
"What is it mummy?" Scarlett asked in a sweet but cruel tone.
"You see these fake friends of yours that took advantage of you all the time? Well,finish them off at first!" Her mother slowly demanded.
Scarlett nodded and grinned. Scarlett slowly got up and took the knife from her mother.
Laurel was whimpering now and Gabe was trying to shout through the cloth that closed his mouth.
"Sorry guys but I have to do this" Scarlett said,Scarlett lofted the knife high in the air above her,and as she brought the knife down blood splattered all over her clothes,her face and her hands.
     The walls were all red now,it smelled disgusting and shrieked piercings echoed the walls.
On the floor,Scarlett saw the limp body belonging to her mother.
      Her eyes were open and heavy tears had been flowing out. Her mouth was open through which deaf screams had been shouted. Scarlett dropped the knife on the floor.
Scarlett rushed to her friends and untied them. They all were once free,they cried out and howled. All three of them wrapped each other in a hug.
All of them were horrified,confused but mostly relieved...
