Chapter 19: Home

I shivered.

"Then, we found the blue lion and got to Allura, not much after that, Shiro was rescued."

"Matt... I know that you've been through much... But how do I know that I can trust you? You've changed so much, you are no longer the goofy nerd you once were... You got stronger, smarter, wiser and a whole lot braver... on the other hand.... I got broken, hurt, and yes, I may be smarter now, and I may have adapted, but the only thing I wanted was to go back home to those sweet amber eyes that rested misteriously behind a big pair of round glasses... I'm not sure anymore... on space... you can't trust anything..."

"But y/n..."

"I-i..."

I couldn't finish my sentence... I remembered how no words are better than a thousand words, so I kept quiet.

"... as you wish, but remember... no matter what happens after this... I will always love you..."

He placed his hands on my hips and I tensed up, after calming down he got closer and closed the gap between us, diving me into a sweet yet sad kiss.

It began gentle... as if he was waiting for me to push him away, but I really craved love, the love that made you feel safe and cared of, and no one made me feel more safe than him, so I gave in and kissed back, turning it into a much deeper kiss. I placed my hands around his neck and broke the kiss, breathing for air.

"Are you ready to trust me again?"

I smiled and played with his hair.

"You know... maybe you don't need the glasses after all"

He laughed and kissed me again, I could feel him smiling through the kiss, after we broke the kiss again he went down for my neck and gave it a small bite.

I squealed in surprice "Watch it Holt..." he chuckled and gave me another bite, this time I didn't squeal, but another sound came out. "M-matt... stop..."

"Ok ok, I'll stop..." he kissed the places were he bit me. "there's nothing a kiss can not treat. Do you remember that?"

I smiled. "I actually do, you were so needy that day... I miss home..."

He looked down. "Me too"

"Come on Matt, let's go see what Hunk has for dinner."

"Ok"

"GOO?!"

Everyone looked at my direction, it seemed like they were used to eating that.

"With this kind of kitchen you can get so much more things done than just goo!"

"Well if you're so smart then be my guest!" Lance said furious.

"Lance... I wouldn't dare her if I were you..."

"Shut it Matt, its a deal!" I said

Everyone left the kitchen except fot Hunk. "So what are you going to do?"

"I'm making.... PIZZA!"

"Pizza?"

"Yes, all this years I've been with Kolivan, he basically teached me how to live alone. I know cooking, laundry, medicine, combat. All you need to know to survive out here in space, so I technically know which ingredient is which."
