Annabelle held Ethan's hand tightly as the noise from the plane got louder and louder. Ethan rubbed her back, trying to calm down his princess.

"It's going to be okay, baby." He said. "I promise that everything is going to be okay." Annabelle whimpered as the plane started to move. Annabelle reached for her water glass with a shaking hand, her heart racing. Water spilled over the edges of the glass as she tried to keep her hand steady.

"Let me do that for you, little one," Ethan cooed, using a paper napkin to wipe away the spilled water.

He took the glass from his mate's hands and slowly raised it to her lips, letting Annabelle gulp down the water.

"Good girl," he praised. Annabelle blushed at the attention. Ethan set the now half-empty glass on the table beside them and let the flight attendant take the glass.

He started to lightly bounce Annabelle on his knee as the plane started to speed up. Annabelle let out more whimpers as she buried her face into Ethan's chest.

"It's okay baby, we'll be in the air soon," Ethan said. Annabelle shut her eyes as tightly as she could and tried to ignore the pressing thought that at any moment, the plane would take a nose dive into the cement and they would all dire. She would never ever get to see her family again or-

"We're in the air, babydoll" Ethan said as Annabelle snapped out of her thoughts.

"Really?" She asked, giving out a big breath of relief. Ethan nodded and kissed her cheek. "We did it?" Annabelle was peering around in disbelief. Her mate chuckled.

"Yes, little one. We're all safe in sound, too." Ethan said. "And look, we're in the clouds." Annabelle peered out the window and gasped in amazement, her green eyes growing even bigger.

"I've never been this high up before," she said breathlessly. "Everything is so small." She placed a dainty hand on the window glass as she looked back at Ethan with a grin. Ethan pulled his mate closer as she stared out the window.

"You might want to chew some gum, angel. It will keep your ears from hurting," Ethan suggested as he held up a stick of pink gum. "And it's bubblegum, your favorite." Annabelle quickly popped the gum in her mouth, not wanting to experience any pain on the already nerve-racking flight.

"Thank you," she said as Ethan peppered her face with light kisses, her face becoming as pink as the bubblegum.

"Such good manners my baby girl has," Ethan cooed, loving the even deeper shades of pink and red that Annabelle's cheeks had become.

Many hours later, the plane skidded to stop in the Wisconsin airport. Giddy, Annabelle looked around the airport with wide eyes, taking everything in.

"Don't I need a passport or something?" She asked Ethan. She had heard that when you traveled between countries you needed a passport to enter.

"No, Clara arranged something already," he said as he filled out a form one of the flight attendants had given him. She was told it was called an immigration form. Ethan quickly scribbled his signature before handing it to Clara.

"We'll be staying with a pack ally of ours tonight before we fly back home to Colorado," Ethan explained to Annabelle. She anxiously twiddled her fingers at the word 'home'. Home had only ever been her family's packhouse in Northern Canada. Now, home was going to be with Ethan's pack.

"Will your pack like me?" Annabelle asked as Ethan and another werewolf readied the bags. "What if they think I'm not good enough?"

Ethan immediately dropped everything and scooped Annabelle up into his strong arms. "Of course they'll love you. What's not to love? And if anybody ever bothers you in any way, shape or form, I'll take care of it." He reassured her. Annabelle nodded and curled up into his chest.

"I'm tired," she whined.

"I know baby, It's the jet lag," Ethan said, brushing the stray hairs out of his princess' face. "You'll be able to sleep soon."

Ethan motioned for the three flight attendants to take their bags as they walked out of the plane. A large black car was waiting for them outside with a driver standing by the passenger door.

"Alpha," the driver greeted. "I've been sent by the Blue Night pack to bring you to the house. It's a short drive, only an hour or so." Ethan shook the driver's hand firmly and stepped into the back seat while the airplane staff loaded their bags up.

After strapping himself in, he situated Annabelle on his lap so she was comfortable. Ethan kissed his mate's forehead as soft snores started to drift out of her pink lips. Annabelle was so adorable.

An hour and a half later, the car pulled up to a large estate, with freshly mowed grass and manicured rose bushes. Ethan had to be impressed by the fancy architecture and tall buildings. It paled in comparison to his pack house but it was still a nice property.

"I'll bring you to the second entrance," the driver told Ethan. "You two have had a long trip and I'm sure you are both exhausted. That way you can go straight to your room without having to make any stops. I'll inform the Alpha and Luna of your arrival."

"Thank you, sir. Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated." Ethan said as the driver moved the car around the corner.

Several male werewolves emerged from a side door and began to unpack the luggage. Ethan stepped out of the car with Annabelle snuggled and protected in his arms.

Ethan struggled to hold back a snarl as the male werewolves' gaze immediately snapped to his baby girl. Annabelle was his and only his. Anybody who put that statement in question would have to face the consequences.

Despite the unwanted threats to his baby, Ethan and Annabelle made it down the hallway and into a guest room without any disturbances. The room was very nice, as it should be for the most powerful alpha.

It held a large bed, two closets, a bathroom, a couch, and a television. Ethan laid his sleeping Annabelle on the bed before stepping into the bathroom to take a nice, hot shower.
